Kucka - Can You Hear Me Dreaming? - VINYL LP

2018 . Starting the blues calendar with a bang in 2018, Let It Go feels like a homecoming. After all, this studio album sees Bernard return to Ruf Records the iconic German tag that was created in 1994 to serve as a home for his father, the much-missed Chicago heavyweight, Luther Allison. Just as significant, Let It Go also found Bernard recording in the birthplace of the blues - Tennessee - and returns his sound to it's raw fundamentals, on 12 songs that hold up without embellishment. Let It Go was recorded at Bessie Blue Studio, Stantonville, Tennessee, with legendary music producer Jim Gaines, recalls Bernard. InchWe made the decision to not flood the CD with keyboards or horns, to go back to the true basic rhythm section sound - and to show more mature songwriting.Inch

Originally released in 1987, Deathcrush is not just any old EP; it is the debut recording of one of the most infamous bands in the history of extreme metal, and the first studio to come out of the Norwegian black metal scene. This new edition has been meticulously reissued to capture the raw, chaotic energy of Euronymous, Necrobutcher, Maniac and Messiah, before the genre was fully defined.

LA-based producer KUCKAs debut album, Wrestling, is a personal and intimate collection of songs - but it is also relatable in it's evocation of universally human themes and experiences. In her own words, InchI like the idea of someone else hearing the songs and being able to wear them, to transfer the lyrics to their own life.InchWrestling is marked by a conscious effort to produce tracks that work as songs (she wrote over fifty pieces before narrowing them down to the eleven here) lyrics are personal and literal, their open emotionality contrasting with the simple but hyper-digital production within which they are embedded. KUCKA has worked alongside a number of high-profile collaborators, producing and singing on tracks with artists as diverse as Flume, A$AP Rocky, Vince Staples, SOPHIE, Fetty Wap and Kendrick Lamar. But as with her previous releases, the album is self-produced.Side A1. Wrestling2. Contemplation3. Drowning4. Ascension5. Afterparty6. JoyrideSide B7. Your World8. Sky Brown9. No Good For Me10.
