Shrouded in violence and wildness, Kvaen is a solo project by Swedish musician Jakob Björnfot (The Duskfall and Autumn Death). Walking the path of flesh and bone, Kvaen plays black metal with speed, pagan, and Viking metal influences. The debut album, Funeral Pyre, delivers well-executed black metal, exploring the 80's infernal speed metal reign and breathing the vision of Viking age, cold steel, death, and Ragnarök. Charged with diabolic melodies, this album grabs the listeners and takes them on a wild ride through mysterious barren wastelands of northern Sweden. KVAEN keeps the listener engaged with a knife against the throat until the last moment of Funeral Pyre. The album features contributions from various musicians, including Sebastian Ramstedt (Necrophobic, ex-Nifelheim) and Perra Karlsson (In Aeternum, Nominon, ex-Destroyer 666). Album Tracks 1. Revenge By Fire 2. Yee Naaldlooshii 3. Funeral Pyre 4. Septem Peccata Mortalia 5. Wolves Throne 6. As We Serve the Masters Plan 7. Bestial Winter 8. Hymn to Kvenland

The debut album InchFrom the DepthsInch by Ravened is an experience of five young guys, pouring 100% of their hearts into 12 heavy tracks, which would attract both listeners interested in the technical aspect of music, as well as anyone who just loves great metal. Even though the band members are between 19-24 years old, the music has been a big part of their lives for generations. Olle Liljegren (guitars) are son to Simeon Liljegren (Modest Attraction, AudioVision), and nephew to Christian Liljegren (Narnia, The Waymaker, AudioVision, Divinefire, Golden Resurrection, etc.) and drummer Oliwer Svensson is son to Kent Svensson (Hellfueled). Ravened is all about really tight metalcore with heavy riffs, well-written lyrics, and a hunger and passion like few other bands in their age. From first introduction-track InchThe PathInch and into InchFoul DeedsInch to closing title track InchFrom the DepthsInch, the band keeps the listener's interest. The guys put their hearts and minds into songs like InchFalse ConjunctionInch, with it's attitude, and the mighty InchPersonal UniverseInch, featuring a church cantor, playing a grand church organ.
