Nice to be back with Kwikset, simple and reliable. This replaced a Yale smart lock, and I’m grateful to not need separate hardware to connect to wifi. The only downside compared to the Yale was no support for Apple HomeKit, but I rely more on Alexa anyway

This was a very good keyless choice. So far it works very well. I have not had any issues. The power went out and it still functioned without any hiccups. I love the fact that you can set different access codes and time for different folks. You can also see in the app when folks and especially children are coming and going. I did put the spare key into the lockbox we previous had outside just in case. But, I don't see ever having an issue. Especially as long as you change the batteries when it give you an alert to do so.

Easy to install and works great! Simple to use, is well built, and looks great on our door!

Overall I am very happy with this smart lock. It's sleek, pretty easy to install and has some pretty robust features through the Kwikset app. We can assign PIN codes to various people and give them access on certain days / times etc. The only problem I have experienced thus far is I cannot get it to work properly with Google Assistant. Even after reading the tutorials and reaching out to tech support it doesn't allow me to lock / unlock with my voice. I can use the Google Home app to lock it and you can use the Kwikset app if you don't use Google.

I love this lock, I like not having to search for a key at the bottom of my purse. The device does contain and battery that needs changing about every 3 or 4 months, presumably depends on how much you use it. Overall it's works as expected and suits my needs. i also like the touchscreen that lights up in the dark.

The design and ease of use are great. Mostly simple to install, rekey and program. Connected easily to google home. The only negative is its somewhat loud when the lock/unlock are activated, but for the sake of safety that could be a good thing.

Very easy to install, a little loud when activated but overall a nice lock. Connected to wifi and Bluetooth with no trouble.

The Kwikset Halo touchscreen Smart Lock is a great addition for our door. Installation and set-up was very easy and the SmartKey feature was easy to re-key to match with all of my other Kwikset locks in the house. Touchscreen is bright and very responsive to use day or night. Integration with Alexa was simple and effortless! Highly recommend the Kwikset Halo WiFi Smart Lock.

Good wifi connected lock set overall. Works and was easy to install. I read elsewhere that the battery life isn't the best and I'm noticing it using more battery than my old schlage one. Like I mentioned, I had a schlage previously and I think I prefer that more but it made sense to use kwikset this time. It made it easy to re-key the house since all the other locks were kwikset too and it comes with their re-key tool.

These deadbolts are so easy to install and have the ability to change the key so they both use the same. This was just the forst fantastic thing i discovered. Once the loks were set up i found the app to be so simple to use and full of quslity of life features. Its clear security is what quickset is good at. The app offers options that offer both convenience and security. Im so happy with my locks im planning on replacing the rest at my home.

Great product. Connectivity is pretty good and have no had any issues this far. It does end up using the battery pretty quickly if used often but that can be mitigated with a rechargeable lithium battery. Overall, a very good lock.

Great for the kids getting into the house when we are not home and each having their own code to see who is unlocking it. But the major complaint is this thing eats batteries.

I purchased two Kwikset Halo Touchscreen locks for my front and security doors primarily for the SmartKey functionality. It was a perfect plan: I could re-key them to my existing house keys so guests could use their physical keys, while still having the convenience of codes for others. While the features are great and the setup was seamless, the battery life is an absolute disaster. I’ve owned these for just over a year and I am forced to replace the batteries in both units every 6 to 8 weeks. What makes this even more infuriating is that many people in my home use the manual key, so the electronic motor isn't even being taxed that often. There is no reason I should be burning through batteries at this rate. I feel completely misled. At this point, I’m spending so much money on batteries that the "convenience" of a smart lock has become a costly, high-maintenance burden. I might as well have stuck with standard deadbolts. Unless Kwikset has a fix for this clear defect, I cannot recommend these locks to anyone who values their time or money.

We had recently bought one at lowes and we had a lot of issues with it. Which is why we ended going to best buy and saw this lock. The price was great and everyone in the house loves it. I especially like that you get the notification when it locks and unlocks and the fact that you can lock it and unlock it from your phone. With kids in the home you want to be able to lock from wherever you’re at because sometimes their kid brains forget to lock the door.(haha)

Works well and easy to install. The free battery that came with it died pretty quick but it says battery usually lasts 6 months. We'll see.

Trust the Kwikset brand. I like the features on this smart lock, touchscreen, WiFi etc. Easy to install.

So far so good. Easy to setup and use. Only downside seems to be battery life, averaging 4 months at this time.
