I was looking for an open-world RPG or FPS that had a more realistic feel to it. L.A. Noire meets those criteria and more. It's well crafted and immersive. The controls are decent enough, though vehicle driving is more of a GTA experience then I would imagine 1940s L.A. to have been. I think the cases are challenging and the story is solid. Love the game.

The game and story line itself is great and interesting. However, it is not a game that I would let me children/young teens play. The language in this game is quite vulgar. When driving the vehicles in this game, they are quite hard to control. Never have found a way to reduce the sensitivity of the game while driving. If running or walking, it is easy to control. It is only when driving.

L.A. Noire is an awesome law enforcement and detective game! It is based in the 1940's and you get to play the roll as a policeman and work your rank up through detective by solving cases and serving justice. The setting is graphic, the experience is fairly realistic, and the cases can be challenging. In game experience is fun and addicting! Controls are easy and objective process of actions is efficient. Loads of fun cases and extra calls on the side! I hope they come out with a second game, if they have not already!

This game raises the bar for what a video game can do with facial animations. The fact that you can tell when someone is lying to you with almost 100% certainty JUST by watching their face when they talk is amazing to me. My only problem is the game length....it could've been a bit longer. My guess is, they used a lot of the disc memory on the graphics.

Not bad. The graphics are good. The story is very well planned out.

This game was fun with great story twists & well worth the price. The free play is similar to Grand Theft Auto, but this time you're a good guy. The graphics are great & the cases are fun. Recommend adding to your library.

I always loved the detective genre, and this game doesn't disappoint, I've just started it and I'm hooked, great mix of action and deduction, I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Good game great story and free roam map just exactly like grand theft auto except your a cop not a gangster. Very fun..

This game was acceptable. There are better games and worse games. It's kind of different in that you're not just running around wreaking havoc, but solving crimes. Probably complicated for youngsters to figure out. Recommended for maybe those 14 and older.

The game is amazing, detailed graphics, with a deep and intense plot that just twines you in and I'm in love with the new interrogation part of the game . However, the downfall was my disc 1 came with several scratches that made the game stop after 5 or so minutes of playing the game not only that but the graphics would slow down while the audio continued ahead really disappointed but once I got past the 1 disc it was fine, still annoying.

I was hesitant to buy preowned games for years, but now I love it. Another great game to add to my collection at an even better price.

Bought mostly to see what the hype was all about. For sure going to get the PS4 version when it comes in November.

It's an overall amazing game and I love everything about it. The graphics are stunning! I really enjoy the time period it is set in as well. The cases are challenging and make you pay attention to detail if you want a perfect score, however at times, they can be a bit too difficult. Although, I can overlook that because I just love the game!

The game play is similar to GTA but you're a cop. The storyline is pretty fun because you're solving crimes and mysteries.

This game is a solving a mystery game, and so far it is really fun because you are actually choosing who you would place in jail.

It is a very good game with good graphics but the done side is that there is too many dialogues... But overall it is a good play.
