Be ready for the day with the La Crosse Technology's Digital Atomic Clock with temperature. This timepiece comes with convenient features to provide information you need to know. The self-setting clock wirelessly gives you accurate time and date, so you’ll sure to be on time. It has a WWVB radio signal antenna for the time’s best accuracy and automatically resets for daylight savings' time. It also functions as an alarm clock and offers a crescendo alarm (gradually increasing) with an extra 10 minute snooze. The clock is battery operated, so it will keep the correct time after black outs or power surges. It will also indicate when it’s time to change its batteries (requires 2 AAA, sold separately.) This time-keeper gives you the ability to be prepared for almost anything. It offers seven different factory-set time zones (Atlantic to Hawaiian), so you need to do is select your time zone, place the clock facing the WWVB signal direction (NIST tower located in Fort Collins, CO USA) and time will automatically set your time and date, accurately. Monitors the indoor room temperature and can display in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. All you have to do is take a glance, and you will be set for the day.
Q: does this clock have UTC time zone ? Can this clock display 24hr time ?
A: 7 Time-zones (AST, EST, CST, MST, PST, AKT, HAT) and displays in 12-hr time only
Q: My clock does not set itself. What should I do?
A: Dependent on your location, position of the clock in your home, and atmospheric interference, it may take up to 5 nights for the change from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time and vice-versa to occur. • Check for a WWVB Tower Icon showing on the atomic wall clock. The tower icon indicates you have received the WWVB signal from Ft Collins CO in the past 24 hours. • Check that the clock is in the correct Time Zone. • Check whether the DST indicator is ON or OFF. If the indicator is OFF the clock will not change. • Check for fresh batteries. Without proper batteries, the antenna will have a harder time picking up the signal. • Position the atomic wall clock in a window (with the front or back) facing Ft. Collins, Colorado and leave for up to five nights. If you do not have a window facing this direction, position the clock near an outside wall and point the unit in this general direction.
