Q: How much weight can this chair hold?
A: The chair is rated to hold 275 lbs. I weigh 246 and while I've had it only a month, so far it is both comfortable and holds me at the maximum height. Like you, I am concerned about how long the hydraulic cylinder will hold its pressure. That was the reason I shopped a new chair. The previous chair I had got to where it would not stay at maximum height. I dislike a chair that won't hold me at the heighth I set it at. The true test is "time." If it holds its pressure for five years I'll be content. Anything less will disappoint me.
