I bought a 2019 27 in 5k iMac a few years ago. Recently after software updates, I was surprised to find how slowed it ran. After doing some research I cam across the LaCie external hard drive. After I purchased it and followed the online tutorial, I was able to drastically increase the speed of the iMac. Now it run like brand new.

Excellent portable drive. I usually have a hard time trying to get my MacBook Pro connected to other drive brands, but this was literally plug and play. It is really fast. I use it with garage band files and it is quick.
