This fan helped me from changing fixtures in my kitchen. It also was a cheaper way of staying cool in the kitchen.

Originally purchased with the intent to install in our apartment window to get the air moving and without having to resort to our new portable AC. But it has little feet on it which allow you to just plop it on the floor anywhere, which we immediately did. It does a good job of scooting the air around at floor level; I set it up about 10 feet from my work-at-home desk, and love it there. Nice and quiet, but creates air flow that is fairly strong without becoming obnoxious.

Pushes the air. Very quiet even at top speed. Remote needs to be close to fan when operating. Nice displays. Several fan directions to chose from: intake, outtake, one fan out and one fan in. Includes one built-in expansion panel and one add-on extension panel to better fit window. Very sturdy in window (at least was in mine).

One of our best purchases on Best Buy. Digitally it has Auto shut-off at the temperature you prefer. Double fan can reverse the air out (helpful during humidity and with bad smells seeping in from car exhaust or simply to rid the kitchen of unwanted humidity and heat). Also has a feature where 1 fan pulls in air and the other sends air out to recirculate the room. It's especially helpful when the temperature outside is nice and cool and yet the house is very hot... Quickly pull in the cool air to cool off any room. Game changer! Secret tip... If it's raining, simply set the fan to blow out to avoid any rain on the unit and inside the window sill. The install was tricky at first but you quickly realize that it's made for the window to go flush behind the digital panel. Simply shut the screen behind the fan to avoid any flying creatures making there way into the house. And yes there's room for the screen to shut behind the unit. It's similar to installing a window AC unit except much much lighter and easier. No drilling. Enjoy!!! Meant for summer spring and fall... In the winter you'll need to take it down since it is exposed to outside temperatures and you'll get extremely child rooms since the window is technically always opened with only the screen to block anything.
