Last of the Summer Wine: Vintage 2009 - DVD [Standard]

Never underestimate the inappropriate impulses of senior delinquents Clegg, Truly, Alvin and their friends in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Who else would rig a karate match to beat an annoyingly fit neighbor, resurrect Elvis Presley for a fan, meddle in romance with InchHerInch at the pizza parlor, and make career plans while heavily chained? What to do with a jewel thief who brags too much, a long-ago girlfriend who wants what she says Howard promised, and a retired milkman rumored to have strong ties to MI-5? Laugh your way through eleven more episodes of Britain's longest running comedy, including the Christmas Special.

They say you can't put new wine in old bottles, but the old dogs of Yorkshire Dale are up to some new tricks in this round of the world's longest running sitcom. This season, the boys stage a stag night for the ages, have their wires crossed in a haunted wood, and flirt with the law in more ways than one. In other misadventures, Clegg gets on the wrong track with a new bike, the roof caves in on Smiler's dating plans, and Howard's new car drives everyone mad. The group gets handy reaching out to aliens, while Alvin and Howard nearly eat crow in a country race. Sozzled or sober, the merry men and women of the Dale, played by comedy legends Peter Sallis, Frank Thornton, Keith Clifford, Juliette Kaplan, and many more, never cease to amuse.
