Latin Percussion - 5 Inch Triangle with Striker Steel Percussion Instrument with Nylon String and Dual Strikers for Clear Tone

The LP 6 Inch Triangle with Striker is a compact and reliable percussion instrument designed to deliver bright, clear tones for a wide range of musical applications. Crafted from heat-tempered, high-alloy steel, this triangle produces a crisp, resonant sound that cuts through ensembles, making it ideal for orchestral use, classroom settings, studio recording, and live performance. The included nylon hanging string allows for stable suspension and easy playability, while the two included strikers provide flexibility in achieving different articulation and dynamics. Built for consistent performance and durability, this triangle is suitable for musicians, educators, and percussionists seeking a dependable instrument that adds precise rhythmic accents and tonal clarity to any musical setup.

This 10 inch steel triangle is designed for crisp, clear percussion tone, featuring heavy-gauge steel construction that delivers bright sound and consistent projection. The included striker allows for precise articulation, while the durable design ensures long-lasting performance. Ideal for musicians, it provides reliable tone for live performance, rehearsals, and studio recording environments.

The triangle is one of those percussion instruments that reveals its deceptive complexity only when you encounter it in a musical context where it belongs. Its visual simplicity conceals a genuinely nuanced and musically significant instrument whose pitch, sustain, and tonal character vary meaningfully with size, material, gauge, and striker hardness in ways that trained ears can hear and that experienced percussionists care deeply about. The LPA121 is the 6-inch model in the LP Aspire triangle range, and the 6-inch size occupies the highest and brightest pitch position in the lineup. At this size, the triangle produces a clear, singing, and penetrating tone that sits naturally at the very top of the frequency spectrum, above the range where most other instruments in an ensemble operate and therefore with a natural ability to cut through and be heard without competing with or masking the instruments around it. This makes the 6-inch size particularly well suited to contexts where the triangle is used as a rhythmic accent or color instrument within a dense ensemble arrangement, whether that is an orchestra, a Latin band, a concert band, a jazz ensemble, or a contemporary percussion group. A smaller triangle in a dense mix is easier to distinguish from the upper register shimmer of cymbals or the brightness of woodwind overtones than a larger, lower-pitched model, which is why educated percussionists and music directors frequently specify a smaller triangle when they want the instrument to speak clearly and precisely rather than to fill a broader sonic space. The Aspire Series represents Latin Percussion's commitment to making professional-quality instruments accessible to working musicians, music educators, and students who need real instruments at prices that reflect real-world budgets. The LPA121 is not a classroom noisemaker: it is a properly constructed musical instrument built from heavy gauge steel that produces the clean, crisp, and tonally consistent sound that a musician at any level deserves. Heavy gauge steel produces a tone that is full and sustaining without being muddy, with a clear fundamental pitch and natural harmonics that give the instrument genuine musical character. Free suspension from the nylon string is fundamental to achieving the open, sustained ring that the instrument is capable of producing, which is why this detail matters even at an entry-level price point. At $26.99 the LPA121 is available to any music program, any working percussionist, and any student building a starter percussion toolkit. Backed by Latin Percussion, the LPA121 is a genuine musical instrument for every context in which a triangle belongs.
