The Latin Percussion LP 14” & 15” Karl Perazzo Top-Tuning Timbales is a dual-drum percussion set designed for Latin and contemporary rhythmic performance, featuring 14” and 15” diameter timbales with a 6-1/2” depth. It is built on the LP Prestige Timbales design and constructed with black nickel plated steel shells and chrome-plated hardware, paired with black drum heads for a unified factory setup. The set incorporates a patented top-tuning system that allows tuning adjustments from the top of the drum, supporting quick changes during playing. An expanded cascara playing surface provides additional shell area for rhythmic articulation, while a recessed mounting screw design helps maintain a cleaner playing surface. The package includes a heavy-duty height-adjustable stand with tilt functionality and an integrated cowbell bracket, along with timbale sticks and a tuning key for setup and adjustments.
