Latin Percussion - LP303 Mini Merengue Guiro with Scraper - Stainless-Steel Construction + Open-Ended Design

The LP LP307 Ultra Pro Merengue Güira is a stainless steel guira designed as a professional percussion instrument for Latin music applications, producing a bright, cutting scraping tone associated with guiros musicales and traditional merengue styles. Its textured metal surface supports clear rhythmic articulation, while the 7-inch diameter and 13-inch height provide a larger playing area for consistent, continuous patterns. Commonly used alongside congas, tumbadoras, and maracas, this instrumento integrates into broader Latin instruments setups for styles such as salsa, plenas, and other Caribbean rhythms including dominicana and puertorriqueño traditions. The included LP333 Pro scraper allows immediate use, and the integrated metal handle supports stable grip and controlled performance during practice, recording, or live settings.

The LP Blast Block with Bracket High Pitch is a mounted percussion block designed to deliver bright, cutting accents for live performances, rehearsals, and studio sessions. Crafted from LP’s Jenigor plastic formulation, it features a durable construction intended for repeated striking during regular use. The included heavy-duty mounting bracket and LP eye-bolt assembly allow easy integration into drum kits and percussion setups using standard 3/8-inch diameter rods. Its high-pitch tone works well for drum set players, percussionists, marching ensembles, school bands, and multi-percussion configurations, while also complementing the LP1307 Low Pitch Blast Block for expanded rhythmic and tonal options.

These Aspire traditional claves feature solid wood construction that delivers bright crisp sound with strong projection and clear articulation. Measuring 8 inches in length, they are kiln dried for consistent tone and durability. Ideal for percussionists, they perform reliably in live environments, rehearsals, and studio setups where authentic Latin rhythm is essential.
