With this third, highly anticipated children & family album from this Nickelodeon Award winning band, Leah White wanted to come up with an original, edgy name to show the albums versatility with genres of music. While meeting up with her graphic designer in the grocery store, it was suggested that she take a poll from moms on what this new title should be. Within ten minutes of shopping, Leah was able to pull over 10 different moms and poll them on what they would buy an album called 'fun on the shore' or 'sprinkler'. While polling a stay-at-home-mom and former corporate marketing executive (in her former life), the mom asked Leah the big question 'does it have a bunch of different sounds?' As soon as Leah answered this question and after polling all the moms in the store, she caught up with the graphic designer in the checkout counter to announce, 'The new album will be called SPRINKLER.' This high energy, enthusiastic mom of three teamed up with producer, Paul Beebe, who produced A White Christmas to come up with new, innovative material for this album. It started out with vintage rock 'n roll songs then when Leah White began writing songs on the piano, the synthesizer was dragged out of Paul's studio closet. Now the band has incorporated the synthesizer which adds to the pop flare kids tend to gravitate. Many of the songs contain Leah's consistent ability to write witty, funny lyrics. Who else would write about songs like Nose Picking and Uncle Dave (ran over my car again)? These are topics you rarely find in the world of children's music but they exist and who better to pull it out and sing about it in a song than a mom of three who has been through it all- well almost, teenage years are still ahead which will surely prove to great inspiration for writing music. Album Tracks 1. Sprinkler 2. Days of the Week 3. Be Polite 4. Beautiful Day 5. Lightnin

Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression.
