It’s a good laptop, only bad thing is the battery life but otherwise it’s amazing.

If you are looking for a good deal on a laptop with upgradable memory and not much else, this is probably for you. Pros: - Keyboard is fantastic, Lenovo knows how to make a keyboard and it shows here. - Display is clear, bright, and without major weaknesses. - USB-C Charging - Solid Performance. Been using it for CAD and 3d Scanning workloads (Creality Otter) and its handled it great. Did some gaming as well. - Upgradable memory (Mine came with a single 16gb stick allowing for another 16gb stick to be added to upgrade to 32gb) - Solid enough build (Plastic but well designed, you aren't worried about breaking it carrying it around with one hand or anything like that but it isn't anywhere near a macbook or other quality built laptops) - Battery Life is good enough for a gaming laptop, it won't come close to the true battery life kings though. Cons - Fan Noise - When you are actually using it for its performance it is loud and annoying. When set to balanced power mode it isn't bad and when set to quiet it is impressive but when you need that GPU power you are going to hear it. It looks like it has two fans (and I'm sure it would on other models) this laptop only has 1 fan installed with the other vents blocked off. It's easy to block off the fan intake when it's sitting on your lap too. - Trackpad - It's plastic and honestly kind of meh. Sticky when you don't want, has a bit of movement/noise to it when you put your finger on it which ends up being annoying. Plan to use a mouse - Speakers - This is the weakest point of this laptop. Downward firing speakers with a hollow/cheap sound. Don't expect to use the speakers for much, they make noise I guess but I'm reaching for headphones. - Slow SSD - I haven't checked but I would assume this is a budget NVME drive without a dram cache. Installing programs and downloading games becomes SSD limited quickly. Using headphones and a mouse you don't hear the fans much and the crap speakers/trackpad aren't being used. To me that is a worthwhile compromise when you consider the price (I paid $999 on sale in the middle of the DRAM shortage and wouldn't pay much more honestly). At the $1500 base price look for a better deal elsewhere.

I absolutely love it. I've had this for well over two weeks now and the results are amazing. I am able to use this for gaming and schoolwork! It can handle Minecraft wonderfully, both bedrock and java. And whenever I'm using my laptop for assignments in the library or lecture halls, it remains quiet! That is one thing I'm very happy about. It gets a little loud with videogames, but that's normal. However, with low performing tasks, it is extremely quiet. When it comes to graphics, it is amazing. I have not once experienced lag and the colors are great, nothing is dull. This laptop also has a matte screen! I prefer matte screens so glare can be avoided since my classes usually have overhead lights. 10/10 would recommend buying this for any college student, or teenagers who want to prepare before buying a PC.

Great value for computer, runs well. Only issue is that the fan is very loud compared to other models.

I’ve been really happy with this laptop so far. It runs my games smoothly, the graphics look great, and the 2K screen makes everything look sharp. It also feels fast and responsive when using it for everyday stuff. The laptop looks great, has plenty of power, and the 16GB of memory has been more than enough for what I use it for. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful gaming laptop without spending a crazy amount of money.

First of all, the wonderful Best Buy employee was able to go thru products the truck had just brought in and found the laptop for me. I really did not want to leave empty handed after finally making up my mind for this particular laptop. Not only is is slick, it runs perfectly. I have been using it to get back into gaming, I have been able to work off of it without any issues, and the battery life is amazing.

I bought this when a deal was running, and it has easily exceeded my expectations. The performance is top-tier—everything runs incredibly fast, and the RTX 5050 graphics card handles heavy tasks without breaking a sweat. Beyond the speed, it is just a really elegant gaming laptop. It looks professional and sleek on a desk. If you are looking for serious power wrapped in a clean, modern design, this is it!

Lenovo knows how to make a great gaming pc. I love the design and the hardware for the price. The cpu and gpu do run a bit hot so i have to keep the power mode in "Quite" mode, but that's not a huge deal. Overall, for the price and the hardware you get, this pc is definitely worth it.

I've had a handful of other gaming laptops in the past, but so far, this machine has been amazing. The screen looks amazing, and it's fast and reliable. Also I appreciate all of the ports available that are becoming less and less common. It's nice and quiet, and has performed greater than my expectations.

Is a great computer, fast and works fine for every task and gaming

The battery life Sucks I regret buying this model The Lenovo LOQ is heavily marketed as a great budget gaming laptop, but its out-of-the-box battery life is notoriously poor. Because it packs a power-hungry dedicated graphics card (GPU) and processor, it will chew through its battery in 1 to 2 hours if left on default settings

This was a present for my little brother and for a first gaming laptop it’s awesome. The design is sleek and it’s not too loud when using for long sessions.

So far so good. This is a very fast laptop and seems to function well so far. I have not run into any issues.

Great gaming laptop. One of the best purchases I’ve made this year. Highly recommend if your starting out since its a great price for what you get. Only downside is the 512gb of storage but at least it’s upgrade able later on and can still download quite a few games or apps.

Good budget for an entry level gaming laptop. Also good for daily school life usage.

This is my first gaming laptop and so far it works great! Make sure to keep it plugged in when gaming for best performance and battery life. I’ve been able to play most games I was interested in and the display is 4K quality.
