The laptop is very good. Games run smoothly, it's fast, and the cooling system handles the load well.

It’s a good laptop, only bad thing is the battery life but otherwise it’s amazing.

If you are looking for a good deal on a laptop with upgradable memory and not much else, this is probably for you. Pros: - Keyboard is fantastic, Lenovo knows how to make a keyboard and it shows here. - Display is clear, bright, and without major weaknesses. - USB-C Charging - Solid Performance. Been using it for CAD and 3d Scanning workloads (Creality Otter) and its handled it great. Did some gaming as well. - Upgradable memory (Mine came with a single 16gb stick allowing for another 16gb stick to be added to upgrade to 32gb) - Solid enough build (Plastic but well designed, you aren't worried about breaking it carrying it around with one hand or anything like that but it isn't anywhere near a macbook or other quality built laptops) - Battery Life is good enough for a gaming laptop, it won't come close to the true battery life kings though. Cons - Fan Noise - When you are actually using it for its performance it is loud and annoying. When set to balanced power mode it isn't bad and when set to quiet it is impressive but when you need that GPU power you are going to hear it. It looks like it has two fans (and I'm sure it would on other models) this laptop only has 1 fan installed with the other vents blocked off. It's easy to block off the fan intake when it's sitting on your lap too. - Trackpad - It's plastic and honestly kind of meh. Sticky when you don't want, has a bit of movement/noise to it when you put your finger on it which ends up being annoying. Plan to use a mouse - Speakers - This is the weakest point of this laptop. Downward firing speakers with a hollow/cheap sound. Don't expect to use the speakers for much, they make noise I guess but I'm reaching for headphones. - Slow SSD - I haven't checked but I would assume this is a budget NVME drive without a dram cache. Installing programs and downloading games becomes SSD limited quickly. Using headphones and a mouse you don't hear the fans much and the crap speakers/trackpad aren't being used. To me that is a worthwhile compromise when you consider the price (I paid $999 on sale in the middle of the DRAM shortage and wouldn't pay much more honestly). At the $1500 base price look for a better deal elsewhere.

I absolutely love it. I've had this for well over two weeks now and the results are amazing. I am able to use this for gaming and schoolwork! It can handle Minecraft wonderfully, both bedrock and java. And whenever I'm using my laptop for assignments in the library or lecture halls, it remains quiet! That is one thing I'm very happy about. It gets a little loud with videogames, but that's normal. However, with low performing tasks, it is extremely quiet. When it comes to graphics, it is amazing. I have not once experienced lag and the colors are great, nothing is dull. This laptop also has a matte screen! I prefer matte screens so glare can be avoided since my classes usually have overhead lights. 10/10 would recommend buying this for any college student, or teenagers who want to prepare before buying a PC.

Great value for computer, runs well. Only issue is that the fan is very loud compared to other models.
