Customer Ratings & Reviews

The laptop is very good. Games run smoothly, it's fast, and the cooling system handles the load well.

It’s a good laptop, only bad thing is the battery life but otherwise it’s amazing.

I love this product; the only issue is that the battery life is low

If you are looking for a good deal on a laptop with upgradable memory and not much else, this is probably for you. Pros: - Keyboard is fantastic, Lenovo knows how to make a keyboard and it shows here. - Display is clear, bright, and without major weaknesses. - USB-C Charging - Solid Performance. Been using it for CAD and 3d Scanning workloads (Creality Otter) and its handled it great. Did some gaming as well. - Upgradable memory (Mine came with a single 16gb stick allowing for another 16gb stick to be added to upgrade to 32gb) - Solid enough build (Plastic but well designed, you aren't worried about breaking it carrying it around with one hand or anything like that but it isn't anywhere near a macbook or other quality built laptops) - Battery Life is good enough for a gaming laptop, it won't come close to the true battery life kings though. Cons - Fan Noise - When you are actually using it for its performance it is loud and annoying. When set to balanced power mode it isn't bad and when set to quiet it is impressive but when you need that GPU power you are going to hear it. It looks like it has two fans (and I'm sure it would on other models) this laptop only has 1 fan installed with the other vents blocked off. It's easy to block off the fan intake when it's sitting on your lap too. - Trackpad - It's plastic and honestly kind of meh. Sticky when you don't want, has a bit of movement/noise to it when you put your finger on it which ends up being annoying. Plan to use a mouse - Speakers - This is the weakest point of this laptop. Downward firing speakers with a hollow/cheap sound. Don't expect to use the speakers for much, they make noise I guess but I'm reaching for headphones. - Slow SSD - I haven't checked but I would assume this is a budget NVME drive without a dram cache. Installing programs and downloading games becomes SSD limited quickly. Using headphones and a mouse you don't hear the fans much and the crap speakers/trackpad aren't being used. To me that is a worthwhile compromise when you consider the price (I paid $999 on sale in the middle of the DRAM shortage and wouldn't pay much more honestly). At the $1500 base price look for a better deal elsewhere.

I absolutely love it. I've had this for well over two weeks now and the results are amazing. I am able to use this for gaming and schoolwork! It can handle Minecraft wonderfully, both bedrock and java. And whenever I'm using my laptop for assignments in the library or lecture halls, it remains quiet! That is one thing I'm very happy about. It gets a little loud with videogames, but that's normal. However, with low performing tasks, it is extremely quiet. When it comes to graphics, it is amazing. I have not once experienced lag and the colors are great, nothing is dull. This laptop also has a matte screen! I prefer matte screens so glare can be avoided since my classes usually have overhead lights. 10/10 would recommend buying this for any college student, or teenagers who want to prepare before buying a PC.

Great value for computer, runs well. Only issue is that the fan is very loud compared to other models.

Purchased 2 weeks ago and pleased so far. Light gaming, large excel micro files, graphics, videos ... all without issue. Entry to mid-level but sufficient for my needs. Good value at the less than $1K price point at this point in time. Love the Lenovo keyboards and this is no exception. The 525GB storage is a negative, but a second slot is open for expanding. (Second slot open for expanding the 16GB memory also.) Fan noise can be a little loud at times but knew this upfront so not a surprise. Some compromise on the ports at this price point. HDMI is 2.1 which I intend to make use of. Only one USB-C (not Thunderbolt) so some limitations here but two USB-A. Lack of a MicroSD card slot is disappointing. Some compromises but overall, I consider a good value for the price based on my needs and preferences.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter, and it has exceeded both of our expectations. She absolutely loves it especially the fast computing power that lets her move between assignments, research, and online classes without any lag. The startup is quick, apps open instantly, and multitasking is smooth, which is exactly what she needs for her demanding workload. The build quality feels solid, the keyboard is comfortable for long study sessions, and the screen is crisp and bright. As a parent, I appreciate that it delivers reliable performance without any hiccups. It’s been a great investment in her education, and seeing how much she enjoys using it makes it even better. Highly recommended for students who need speed, reliability, and a laptop that can keep up with them.

I got a LOQ after my Lenovo 15 motherboard died. Considering it seems any high end computer only last 2-3 years, I figured I'd get the cheaper version because I still loved my legion. Computer meets my needs, although have had freezing issues and the copilot button is like having an ad on your keyboard. I don't use copilot, but use the arrow keys a lot and accidentally hit sometimes. Oh I also don't like the style of the keyboard, not sure why it's not like my Lenovo even though they were the same size, but honestly this loq does seem smaller. The fan sounds are very loud, but my computer is staying cool during long-term heavy gaming!

I’ve been really happy with this laptop so far. It runs my games smoothly, the graphics look great, and the 2K screen makes everything look sharp. It also feels fast and responsive when using it for everyday stuff. The laptop looks great, has plenty of power, and the 16GB of memory has been more than enough for what I use it for. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful gaming laptop without spending a crazy amount of money.

This laptop easily handles daily multitasking, heavy workloads, and video editing without breaking a sweat. The RTX 5050 delivers smooth frame rates in popular games and renders graphics very fast. The screen is clear and crisp, and overall performance has been rock-solid. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for solid performance and reliability!

First of all, the wonderful Best Buy employee was able to go thru products the truck had just brought in and found the laptop for me. I really did not want to leave empty handed after finally making up my mind for this particular laptop. Not only is is slick, it runs perfectly. I have been using it to get back into gaming, I have been able to work off of it without any issues, and the battery life is amazing.

I'm mainly using this Lenovo LOQ for photo enhancement, website creation, Shopify work, and everyday office tasks. It’s fast, responsive, and handles everything I throw at it without slowing down. The RTX graphics are especially helpful for image work, and the display looks great. Plenty of power for business and creative work without needing an over-the-top workstation.

I bought this when a deal was running, and it has easily exceeded my expectations. The performance is top-tier—everything runs incredibly fast, and the RTX 5050 graphics card handles heavy tasks without breaking a sweat. Beyond the speed, it is just a really elegant gaming laptop. It looks professional and sleek on a desk. If you are looking for serious power wrapped in a clean, modern design, this is it!

I am a MacBook person but wanted to try something different & based on this PC specifications and performances, I was glad that I purchased this one. The battery life is awesome. It works faster than I thought. I have not played any game on it yet but looks like it is built for gaming. Enjoy it.

I've had a handful of other gaming laptops in the past, but so far, this machine has been amazing. The screen looks amazing, and it's fast and reliable. Also I appreciate all of the ports available that are becoming less and less common. It's nice and quiet, and has performed greater than my expectations.

Lenovo knows how to make a great gaming pc. I love the design and the hardware for the price. The cpu and gpu do run a bit hot so i have to keep the power mode in "Quite" mode, but that's not a huge deal. Overall, for the price and the hardware you get, this pc is definitely worth it.

Is a great computer, fast and works fine for every task and gaming

The battery life Sucks I regret buying this model The Lenovo LOQ is heavily marketed as a great budget gaming laptop, but its out-of-the-box battery life is notoriously poor. Because it packs a power-hungry dedicated graphics card (GPU) and processor, it will chew through its battery in 1 to 2 hours if left on default settings

Great laptop and are scale to game perfectly with lower quality settings. Good enough for the budget
