Incredible Value
I've been using the Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say I'm amazed at the incredible value it offers. The purchase price was just $499, which makes the premium features and solid performance feel like an absolute steal. My Experience -That Screen Though: The 14" 2K OLED screen is, without a doubt, the star of the show. The colors are incredibly vibrant, the blacks are true black, and watching movies or editing photos on it is a joy. It really makes everything pop. Yes, it's glossy, so I get some glare near windows, but the picture quality more than makes up for it. -Speedy & Capable: The AMD Ryzen AI 5 processor and 16GB of RAM handle everything I throw at it. The 50 TOPS of AI power are a welcome addition to my workflows which frequently utilize MS Copilot. Multitasking between work documents, streaming music, and browsing dozens of tabs is seamless. I haven't noticed any major lag. The SSD is fast, and the laptop boots up in seconds. It does get a little warm when I'm pushing it hard, and the fan kicks on, but it's nothing major. -The 2-in-1 Life: I love the flexibility of the hinge. Most of the time it's a standard laptop, but I often flip it into "tent mode" for watching videos or "tablet mode" for casual browsing on the couch. Great compact laptop
I had previously bought a Lenovo Yoga and it was coming up on 5 years when it started to have trouble so I decided to buy a new laptop at Best Buy. I did look at the other brands and models of laptops and when it was all said and done I was still more inclined to buy my second Lenovo Yoga. It is the right fit for me from its sleek look, light weight, just right screen size and overall functionality. I do like the option to use the touchscreen when needed. Though it does operate like a tablet I mostly use it like a laptop and leverage the touch screen when I need to. The battery life seems to be doing well so far and the set up was very easy. It has 2 USB ports which I find useful and I haven’t had any issues connecting to WiFi when I am on the go. This is the first time I’m using the AMD processor (vs Intel previously) and I haven’t seen any noticeable differences on processing. Overall I would recommend this laptop.
