The Lenovo Yoga 720 is very easy to use straight out of the box. The voice guided set up helps one get started and connected right away. I love the finger recognition button and the touchscreen features.

This laptop was recommended to me By an agent and it’s the worst laptop I have used my entire live. I returned it the first week and was given another new one. Same issues- loud fan noise, touch pad seizes all the time, touch screen seizes all the time. It was a complete waste of my money and I am so sad about this purchase.

First, I am a college student and an EMT consistently on the move. Upon initial research I was interested in a Dell Inspiron 15", HP envy 360 or a HP Pavilion laptop. All of which were a bit high in my price range. A very knowledgeable employee recommended this 2 in 1 laptop after I explained my lifestyle a little bit. I was surprised to see how nice a 12.5" laptop could be considering I transitioned from an 8 year old 15" laptop. The Lenovo 720 is lightweight, compact, and sturdy texture-wise. Thanks to its solid state drive I feel it is very practical and quick for its price. The 7th gen i5 processor is more than sufficient to me considering I am upgrading from an 8 year old laptop. I have a external hard drive so I'm not too concerned with memory on it. The keyboard is simplistic and smooth. Easy transition from my old laptop keys to this one and I'm enjoying the process of typing this review on the Lenovo Yoga 720! Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase!

After many frustrations with my last touch screen lap top, I set out to buy a new computer. I love that this computer is so lightweight. I’m able to carry it easily back and forth to work. I also really like the speed and ease of use this item has to offer!

This is an incredibly versatile computer. Lightweight. Great touch screen. Great keyboard. Great touchpad. Fast on and off. Full windows functionality. Works great as a tablet. I spend a lot of time on YouTube and Netflix, and they work great in either tablet or laptop mode. Only complaint is I wish the keyboard was backlit. Only one USB port, but there is a usb-c port where you can plug in a small hub for 20-30 bucks and extend the number of ports - including HDMI, usb, Ethernet, etc. Bargain price at Bestbuy for what you get!

You get what you see. Pros: touch screen, light weight, secure, bright, tablet, very fast Cons: (these arnt really cons cause it is the buyers choice for purchasing the product) one usb port, only 128 gigs is actually 87-90 gigs.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-12. This system ships with a 3CELL 36WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 6 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. Be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:
https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/battery-saver-windows-10. Additionally, to maximize battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. With regard to more USB ports, if you need more USB ports for this ultra portable device, we recommend you consider using a USB Hub with this device. Obviously the installation of the Windows 10 operating system and other factory installed software consumes space on the hard drive. If you need more storage space for this device, we recommend using either Cloud Storage or an external hard drive with the Yoga 720-12.

Bought this for my wife to use for teaching work. It's really light and portable and has the windows pen interface to allow her to draw on her PowerPoint slides while teaching. That combined with the touch screen makes it really flexible and usable for her needs. It has a finger print reader that quickly allows one or multiple people to unlock the laptop. The screen resolution and size is perfect and allows viewing without having to wear glasses to see small stuff. As far as speed, it's pretty snappy and we've not seen any sluggishness when loading/using multiple applications and such. Over all a good working laptop.

Like the size, nice and small and light in weight and fast. Had to replace laptop within a couple of days due to a bad fan. Otherwise, really like this laptop.

The Yoga 720 is a solid laptop in the mid range price of laptops. It starts up quickly and is able to perform all basic tasks without a problem. It has a fan but it is pretty quiet. Touch screen works great and tablet mode is useful at times I definitely would recommend this laptop for a student or business professional that only needs to use basic to moderately power demanding applications. My wife has the latest surface laptop and performance wise they are equal. The Yoga just doesn't look as nice, but it did cost more the half of the price of the Surface.

When my 3.5 year old PC slowed to a crawl, I anxiously waited for the new iPad Pro and hoped to migrate fully to iOS for their regular, free software updates, free support at the Apple Store, tighter control over apps, reduced exposure to malware and greater vigilance over privacy violators. Everything went swimmingly for the first few months doing normal e-mail, messaging, news, etc. I had always thought that I could subscribe to Office 365 as needed. I had to do some volunteer work in Excel and Word that went beyond the free iOS version of the apps. Apparently in its quest to make Office 365 more Apple-like, MicroSoft sacrificed a lot of features in Office 2007 (which I had been using). I was trying to password protect files, which is not supported in Office 365. Also, the Word editing function is quite primitive. You can’t change heading or title fonts, for example. I was stunned to see how stripped down Office 365 is compared to Office 2007, which is more than ten years old. I also recently purchased a Garmin eTrex 30x to help in my geocaching adventures. I wanted its superior antenna (compared to my iPhone) and access to Glasnost, the Russian GPS system as well as the US GPS system. This Garmin can only connect wirelessly to other Garmins. To load Geocaches, you have to use a cable. Unfortunately, the iPad Pro does not support external drives. I guess this is what critics mean when they say that iOS is not a real operating system. So, this Lenovo Yoga represents my return to the Windows world. I hope the Core i7 processor will last longer than my last desktop PC’s. It’s not as fast as the iPad Pro, but it’s also half the cost of the iPad, keyboard and stylus vs. the Yoga, bamboo ink stylus and mouse. I almost returned the iPad Pro, but decided that it may be the better platform for photos and videos. I also hope Apple will enable the external drives in a future software update. What good is it to have a processor that’s faster than 90% of the PC’s and tablets if the software support password protection, Office 2017, external drives, etc.

A Core i5 with 8GB of memory and a solid state HD at an incredible price. It's super fast, and there's really nothing to complain about. It's the lightest laptop I've ever owned, and it still feels sturdy.

When I tried one in the store the mouse cursor was not visible. Because it was a floor model I thought maybe some one change settings and caused this condition. When I received my laptop the cursor was working correctly. A few days later I turned it on and there was no cursor. I couldn't find a solution for the problem so I contacted a Lenovo technician. the technician said the wrong driver was installed on the laptop. eventually the tech uninstalled the mouse and re installed it. The cursor was working fine. the next day I turned the laptop on and the cursor was gone again. I have since been using the touch screen which can be very annoying at times. I'm hope hoping this is a software glitch and there will be an update soon to correct it.

This does sound like a driver update issue. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link, use the automatic Driver Update to scan your device for needed driver updates: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-720-12ikb/downloads <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/lenovo.png" alt="lenovo" title="lenovo" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

So far so good, didn't have any fan problems mention in previous reviews. Made sure to let it run all the updates which took several hours but it's not the laptop's fault, blame Microsoft. Like the size, bought primarily to use on long flights.

Excellent value for price. Weighing in at just under 3 pounds, this notebook has all the features that used to only come on Macs. Since I needed an easily portable Windows notebook, very happy to find one in which all the Mac gestures and features that make it quick and easy to get around the screen work here to. Keyboard just feels right. Only feature I'm not too fond of is the screen - too reflective for me but that might be a necessary feature of the touchscreen. I can use my Yoga without wishing that I was using my MacBook Air though I still hate Windows10. For the price, best 2-in-1 I've seen; someday I'll learn how to use it in tablet mode to take notes.
