If you are looking for an ULTRA PREMIUM laptop then this will please even the pickiest of enthusiasts. The screen is the best I've ever seen, even better than the Samsung QLED laptop display, the keyboard is excellent if you don't mind not so long key travel and it has a very positive click, the sound is AMAZING and easily the best sounding Windows laptop I have ever heard, I was stunned by the full sound, the trackpad works perfectly and the laptop is VERY fast even in battery saver mode. Oh yeah, the leather on top is gorgeous! I AM IMPRESSED!! The only nitpick I have of this laptop is the edges of the trackpad is a very thin groove cut into the glass that I can barely feel so it's easy to go over the edge of the trackpad, I have put carbon fiber decals on both sides of the trackpad on the wrist rests and now I can easily feel the edges and it looks AWESOME :D Takes care of them nasty finger smudges too.

Great laptop so far. However I do have some trouble turning it on/off when it hibernates. Picture is great. Sound is good for what you pay for. Overall good laptop.

Everything is good, very nice screen, good speakers, very nice touchpad, good cpu and RAM--except poor wifi connection. I cannot use a laptop with wifi disconnection from time to time. So I returned it. I am not sure it is just my item or this is a fundamental problem for all machines.

We actually have two of these as we were able to find them both as open box units and they're great! Only real gripe is that it doesn't have an HDMI port, but that's surely becoming a thing of the past I'm sure. Our cats love the leather top case, unfortunately that shows now, but that's also a case by case basis for new owners, i'm sure haha!

It is great, very fast, and its size makes it easy to use. I liked it a lot, its specifications are very high and excellent, its colors are great and its image is real. I am still impressed with it, and it is a genuine Lenovo, I recommend buying it because the price for these specifications is very cheap

PC is decent, but this trackpad and finger print reader absolutely suck.

I bought the unit from best buy online and it came with no charger. When I checked the Warranty it shows it had already expired. Very strange!! Bottom of the laptop is making noise, like something is pressed against it. Plastic on the left side of the screen is lifting.

This is my first 2-in-1, and I can say it's just... OK. I got this device back in November of 2020, and I've held off writing a review so I could get a good feel of its quirks. The one thing stopping it from being great is the all glass trackpad. And yes, it's maddening enough to drop 2 stars from it, but there are more reasons for the rating you see above. Read on… First off I will say that the build quality is fantastic. The 4k screen is superb. The Dolby Atmos soundbar sounds great. The included stylus is serviceable. The storage capacity is mediocre, but this can be rectified. Battery life is decent. This particular model, though–the one with the leather cover and all glass palm area–the trackpad and fingerprint reader are atrocious. Since I have a background as a graphic designer, I came from a retina Macbook Pro… from 2012. So my expectations might be a little high, but not unrealistic. This also means that my day-to-day requires great precision when I'm on-the-go (you know, stuff you'd use a laptop instead of a desktop for). I was drawn by the touchscreen and portability. With a stylus I'd have the ability to draw directly onto the screen without an external tablet. And I don't mean something like an iPad. I mean those Wacom drawing tablets. But for some reason, the market for this type of device doesn't target people like me. This is one of the most powerful devices I could get in the current market with these hardware features. It is powerful enough to run something like Photoshop and Premiere. But maybe just barely. Be glad you've gotten this model instead of last year's C940, though – the more powerful Intel Iris Xe is probably what makes these demanding tasks bearable. As I mentioned earlier, the storage capacity can be rectified. The very first thing I did was crack this thing open and install a 2TB SSD. I can't say I saw a speed improvement despite installing a Samsung EVO variant, but NVMe SSDs tend to be quick in the first place so no surprise there. The limit of 16GB RAM is a huge issue. There have been times that the device has run out of memory (the proper term for RAM and not storage), so I was unable to save my work. I guess no swap file on earth could be big enough to help me there. The stylus doesn't last long for what I wanted it for. I didn't realize that it'd be an active stylus only, so once the tiny battery in it dies, it has to go back into its cradle. It's perfect if all you want to do is jot notes. The response is great, and while I haven't used it much, I believe it does have tilt support. It does have sensitivity, and even on this 4k screen it's pretty responsive. But instead I've opted for a Wacom Bamboo Plus stylus. It's full-sizsed and works great. Now if only I could figure out how to shut off the pen so the battery lasts more than a few days (but that's a different review altogether). The battery life is pretty close to claimed. I've gotten through MOST of a day, with Photoshop running and eating up a majority of that 16GB RAM, fans blazing, without having to plug in. It's those last couple of hours where it can get hairy. But no worry, USB-C Power Delivery (quick charge in human terms) can top things off pretty quickly. This device also has a nice feature to hold the battery level at 60% while plugged in to prolong the life of the battery. Perfect if you're in docked mode all the time. If you know you're going to be portable for a while, untick this option and go all the way to 100%. USB-C charging was another huge factor in my choosing this device. I have tons of devices that use USB-C, despite coming from an Apple laptop. I'm not what you would call an Apple fanboy. All of my phones have had USB-C charging since 2015, and now add the Switch, headphones, etc and I'm finally in charger nirvana. I haven't once used the included charger because it's bulky. Instead I have a nice compact power brick that is powerful enough to keep this thing topped off. One charging cable, multiple devices – fantastic. Ok, so the glass palm rest. What is my beef, you ask? Well, it does look sleek and premium. It's reserved for only the top-end model. The trackpad and fingerprint reader are integrated into a clean package, but the accuracy is really bad. Stuff like dragging files across windows, selecting text, or basically any movement that needs 2 fingers or more is a frustrating experience. I thought firmware updates would fix this, but we're not there yet. I have to pray that my files don't jump into some random folder when I release one finger. The software gets confused which finger is the click and which one is the drag, so once you let go with your drag finger the cursor jumps to some random spot 80% of the time. Thank goodness the file Explorer has an undo feature because there are times when I don't know which folder my files were dropped into. LENOVO IF YOU'RE READING THIS, PLEASE MAKE THE TRACKPAD IMPROVEMENT A PRIORITY FOR YOUR NEXT FIRMWARE UPDATE (hopefully there is a next firmware update). Luckily, you can use an external mouse to avoid this issue... if you have the space for it (or maybe use the responsive touchscreen too). The fingerprint reader is also hit or miss. It's supposed to be ultrasonic so it even works if your fingers are wet, supposedly. In practice I have a success rate of about 40%, and that might be a generous estimate. It's kinda slow too. Maybe I'm spoiled by the awesome fingerprint reader I've had on my phones, which actually improve over time and usage–fast, accurate, and something you don't even have to think about. Another big gripe that I had with this device is that for the better part of 3 months my external monitors stopped working. I use a USB-C hub to connect peripherals and external monitors. One day a Windows update (possibly included a firmware update) caused the monitors to stop working. I tried reverting to any firmware I could find on Lenovo's site with no luck. I even resorted to a "clean" install of Windows – still no dice. Finally, when I'd almost given up, around the middle of March a firmware update from Lenovo was finally released to fix the issue. Ok fine, we're good there. The keyboard is decent and has a nice feel to it. Not sure if it's my typing style, but sometimes it will miss a stroke or two. I don't think you'll have a problem with this if you're a super heavy typer. So if you've made it this far, thanks for going on this journey with me. I accept that there is no such thing as a perfect device. And with all its flaws, I will continue to use this Yoga 9i. It works, it's pretty quiet and compact. I just wish it could pack a little more power and have a decent trackpad *ahem*like current Mackbooks*ahem* to be an ideal device. Hopefully you're now armed with all the information you need to make an informed choice. Go forth and good luck!

I was a bit concerned at first with this computer as it it was difficult to get used to the keyboard and and touchpad. Also it has taken me awhile to get used to Windows 11 and learning to use it. Having said that, I am finally starting to get used to Windows 11 and am getting used to the touchpad (I am not having as much trouble with it as others seem to) and keyboard. The computer is very fast, the screen is beautiful and the sound is excellent. It is still new so my experience is limited, but considering the 4k screen, the batter life seems pretty good. Plus the laptop is beautiful with the leather cover and glass wrist pad. In general, I am becoming very happy as time passes with this 2-in-1. BUT, the fingerprint reader, as other's have said, is really bad.

Love that it looks so chic! Easy to bring everywhere as it is lightweight and super slim! I love that i can watch movies/series on a higher quality and the speaker is much better than the other laptops i had in the past. I love that i can flip it and can use it like an ipad with the pen included. And the battery lasts so long!!! Worth the purchase, 10/10!!!

This is an excellent portable laptop with a great display, sound and overall feel. The trackpad is different, but I find it works very well with just a little bit of practice (may be even easier to use if you have used a MacBook Pro trackpad recently). The battery life is about 7 hours or so with playing back full screen YouTube videos which I consider to be very good, and gets about 3.5-4 hours when playing some light games. The only real cons I have found thus far is that the laptop does get a bit warm towards the very center of the base when being used. It may be due to not being elevated much from the table surface with the feet, but when I raise the vent side from the table it does cool down quite quickly. Also the fingerprint reader is not the best in the world, takes me a few tries to get it just right.

League of its own ! THE GOOD: - 4K Panel = Fantastic color reproduction and super bright ! - Memory and SSD = very fast - No lag with file transfers - Fit & Finish = PERFECT, it does not get much better then this. - Battery Life = 6 hours on average for me as an advanced user - Charger = bigger then I would care for but I picked up a tiny 65 Watt charger and its is now super portable. - Sound = best on the market - It games PERFECTLY for me and I can run these games at max graphics with zero issues = League of Legends, COH2, PUBG THE AVERAGE: - Glass trackpad will have you a bit weirded out for a few days as you will miss left clicks and the fingerprint reader. I have gotten better over time so I suspect it will be a non-issue moving forward. A skin on the glass portion is also an easy fix I have seen some take. - USB-c chargers: I tried my USBc charger from my 910 and while it charged fine, it made the trackpad and keyboard go nuts. The stock charger and other 3rd party chargers have all been fine. THE BAD: NOTHING - there is litterly not bad I can say about this unit. It is the pinnacle of convertibles and I really can not see how it can be improved on.

Honestly, I really enjoyed this laptop, but the factor that killed it for me was the trackpad, as mentioned by other reviewers. The trackpad gets stuck or misclicks on something, which makes it difficult to use on the go. I'm a graduate student who often takes my laptop everywhere, and the touchpad was a nightmare to deal with when I was in the library or studying with friends. It would click on something else as I was typing up a paper, or make it impossible to drag and highlight a bunch of things at once on a PowerPoint. It also delayed me if I was taking notes during a live lecture since it misclicked. Additionally, the glossy finish of the laptop left my fingerprints all over the keyboard and touchpad, which looked dirty and messy on the computer. Obviously, this is all fixable if I use an external mouse...But why should I use it to compensate for something faulty over a laptop worth over $1200? It also would be an extra (albeit small) thing to carry on the go. Overall, the laptop was fine despite the large issue of the touchpad...The speakers on this laptop are by far the best I've heard and seen, and the 4K screen is crisp and bright. Laptop runs fast and battery life was decent. However, after one day of using the laptop, I had to exchange it for the Spectre since it went on sale the next day for almost the same price. If Lenovo modified the touchpad, I would have kept the laptop, because everything else was great. It's just not reasonable for me to keep it if it's a nightmare to use on the go.

This is an amazing computer that has both performance and style. They are some things that take some getting used to. The glass track pad and finger print reader are just different, but time makes these issues go away. Performance, screen all are the best and that is what really is important. The leather cover just adds a feeling of luxury. I wouls recommend this computer to anyone.

This is a great 2 in 1 laptop. Beautiful design and compared to its last generation (C940) it is slightly faster, but I had a problem after installing windows updates. The display is laggy whenever I am streaming a video from YouTube or Netflix (see attached pics). I talked to customer service and technical support and they sent me a replacement unit. It was streaming very well at first, but the same thing happened after updating the windows/drivers. I believe there is a problem with graphics update that causes the problem, but I am not sure. Lenovo needs to do something about this. It's really frustrating to pay this much for a machine that can't stream an HD/4k video properly.

The build is solid- Purchased HP x360 Spectre also with the EVO 1165g7 OLED. Both very same but I love the widescreen and the 4kUHD screen is so close to OLED but no burn-in. Now Track PAD on Lenovo 9i has to get some used to since its solid glass. I had a hard time deciding and HP EVO 14 was so so similar I just liked the solid build feel of Lenovo and CPU was 1185g7. Was slightly faster. Also liked I could use my binder sleeve I bought years ago for my c940 I had. It was meant to be! A very very fast system with no hesitation. Battery is great with every other day charge for me.

This one is a keeper! Fantastic screen (clear and bright). Very fast and super portable. The sound is great. I use Alexa with Amazon Music while working. Not sure about the battery life yet, I pretty much have it plugged in while working. I would recommend this laptop. It is a great value for the quality build and components. I use it mostly for graphics and programming. So its workload is pretty heavy. I'm impressed with its speed compared to other I7 computers I use. The only issue I have is the trackpad and fingerprint reader. They are so integrated into the case that it is difficult to locate in the dark. Love the design but hard to find their location. I would still choose this design over others. It will take some time to get used to.
