- Description: Another name change and a new album for the highly successful rockabilly band formally known as InchRockin Rocket 88Inch. Over the years InchRockin Rocket 88Inch have had various line ups and been synonymous with the Rockabilly Scene throughout Europe. With three albums and an EP recorded and produced on the predominately mainstream rockabilly labels Western Star and Foottapping Records the band have toured throughout the UK, Europe and USA playing a mix of Rockabilly, Rock n'Roll and Rockin' Blues with a Country twist heavily influenced by the unique sound of the 50's and 60's. But time moves on! The same band members and the same great sound, but - a name change, a new recording studio, new production, a new tag and a new album. Getting away from the traditional Rockabilly studios the band wanted a fresh approach to the music that they love from the 50's and 60's. So with enthusiasm for the band and their music from Keith Thomas at Prestige Elite Records, the new album InchRockabilly RollercoasterInch was recorded at the AMF Studios in Essex and produced by Stevie Paul a well known multi-instrumentalist, who has toured the world with some of the biggest names in the music industry. (Rod Stewart, Mary J Blige, Toni Braxton, Bobby Brown, Edwin Starr, Mike & the Mechanics, The Climax Blues Band, Hot Chocolate, Ruby Turner & many more). With the recent worldwide success of Imelda May and The Baseballs opening up the rockabilly sound to a new and wider audience this refreshing album with 15 original numbers and 5 covers retains the band's mix of Rockabilly, Rock n'Roll and Rockin' Blues but has the benefit of Stevie Paul's undeniable experience and influence in it's production. Album Tracks 1. Challenge Me 2. Dianne & the Gypsy Queen 3. The Old Man Down the Road 4. Swordfish 5. Memphis Tennessee 6. Goin' to Chicago 7. Remember Me 8. Summertime Blu
