Gradually artists also deal with the musicians who were part of the environment Handel in London. Among them was that of Quantz and Burney so highly regarded Giuseppe Sammartini (1695-1750), who worked in London since 1728 as oboe virtuoso and composer, but at times also played in the opera orchestra Handel. Of his contemporaries Sammartini was touted as the best oboist Europe. As a legacy of the Lully tradition was Michel Pignolet de Montéclair (1667-1737) one of the brilliant musicians of the period before Rameau. His oeuvre is preserved, although narrow, but high quality. In his few instrumental works, Montéclair preferred the contemporary fashion instrument transverse flute, which he devoted several collections. The two master flutist Frank Theuns and Marc Hantai underline the charming lightness of this music that combines the ease of Regence in notes.

Although his six harpsichord suites appeared already in 1701 in Amsterdam, but were also known in England and spread by copies and reprints.
