Let Us Prey - DVD

Rachel (Pollyanna McIntosh, The Woman), a rookie cop, is about to begin her first nightshift in a neglected police station in a backwater town. Surrounded by both disgruntled officers and irate petty offenders, her job becomes all the more difficult and terrifying when a mysterious man (Liam Cunningham, Game of Thrones) is brought in and strange things start happening to everyone in the station. As it becomes clear that the enigmatic stranger has something to do with the supernatural events, Rachel finds herself in a fight for her life against cop and criminal alike as one by one they turn on each other and themselves. Now she must survive the night and uncover the stranger's true plans for the station's hapless denizens before she too falls prey to the unholy power that seeks to destroy them all.

Steven Soderbergh's singular haunted house story-completely shot from the point of view of the ghost-tracks mom Rebekah (Lucy Liu), dad Chris (Chris Sullivan), son Tyler (Eddy Madday) and daughter Chloe (Callina Liang) as they move into a 100-year-old suburban home. It isn't long before the spirit sees the cracks in the familial facade-and the exploitation of an emotionally vulnerable Chloe by Tyler's skeevy friend (West Mulholland) won't let it remain a passive observer much longer. Julia Fox co-stars. 84 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

Eight months after a disastrous hit job in Kiev left him physically and mentally scarred, ex-soldier turned contract killer Jay (Neil Maskell) is pressured by his partner Gal (Michael Smiley), into taking a new assignment. But as they descend into the bizarre, disturbing world of the contract, Jay's reality begins to unravel until fear and paranoia send him reeling towards a horrifying point of no return. From director Ben Wheatley (Down Terrace), KILL LIST is a mind-blowing psychological horror film that plunges into the heart of human darkness.
