This is a brand new 1/48 scale plastic model kit of the Douglas SBD Dauntless Bomber Aircraft (Level 4) by Revell. The kit features colorful decal artwork, four detailed figures including a pilot, gunner, deck handler, and landing signal officer, operating landing gear, a movable machine gun, dive flaps, and a dropping bomb. It contains 53 detailed parts molded in light gray unless otherwise indicated, with paint and cement required (not included). Decals are included for Dauntless aircraft from the USS Wasp, Guadalcanal (7 August 1942), and No. 25 Squadron RNSZAF Seagrove, New Zealand (July 1943). The model comes in vintage-style packaging, is an officially licensed product, measures approximately 7.75 inches in length and 10 inches in width when assembled, and comes in the manufacturer’s original unopened packaging.
