Meet Level Lock - Touch Edition, the world's smallest, most capable smart lock ever. In the footprint of a traditional lock, you can add effortless new ways for everyone to access your home.
A: It creates a geofence around your home that is like 1-2 blocks wide. Then it tracks your phone’s location relative to the geofence. The touch to unlock feature is only active when your phone leaves and then re-enters the geofence. It’s also only active for a maximum of 5 minutes(can be set for less) once you re-enter the geofence. So inside of that 5 minutes, anyone can touch to unlock it. But once it has been done once, it can’t be done again until you leave the geofence again and start the cycle over so someone can’t follow in right behind you. If you leave your home and don’t go beyond the geofence, then touch to unlock won’t work at all. Touch to lock the door will always work for anyone.
Q: What protocol of NFC does this lock use?

You can use the app or, you can turn on the touch feature so you do not have to pull out the phone, with location services turned on, you can just touch the lock to lock/unlock
