we have been looking for a new fridge with a french door/bottom freezer/water/ice maker set-up for several months. We weren't in a rush to purchase right away so after doing our homework we decided to go with Best Buy. They had the best selection online (which for us was great because we didnt need to go into the store to see the item before purchasing) and was the ONLY store in our neighborhood that offered the best prices for the item, delivery AND for a completely new water line set up. We were a little weary at first because we don't normally purchase big appliances from Best Buy and I read a hand full of people who were not satisfied w/the delievery/install; but we are SO GLAD we went with Best Buy. The two men who delivered the item were AMAZING. They came prepared and really knew what they were doing. They removed our old fridge in a matter of minutes, installed the new fridge (everything from doors, handles, draws had to be removed to get into our kitchen) and set up our new water line in less than 1 hour! We will now use best buy whenever making a purchase like this and hope others will do the same! Our new fridge had had NO PROBLEMS since being installed and we couldn't be happier!

I had a Samsung, and the ice maker kept frosting up and would quit working. So I bought this LG, which does not do that, and makes nice ice cubes. The doors tend to slam a bit, so you want to close them with care. The filter could be a bit easier to change, but otherwise this is a very nice unit. Good layout and excellent lighting. The reserve ice container in the freezer is nice to store extra ice when you know you will need more. Water dispenser is also very nice and has good flow.

We just installed this fridge during a remodel and absolutely love it! The door in door is cool for beverages, and the overall style and functionality is great. Water and Ice work great, and is nice to have a separate button for each so you don't always have to switch from ice to water before pushing the button.

I purchased this refrigerator because it would fit easily through the narrow door frames in my historic home. I had an awful time getting a full sized Whirlpool Gold that was relatively new through the door ways. Sadly, I purchased Whirlpool because I believed it was a good brand and wanted brand consistency in the home that I lived in. Unfortunately it crapped out on us about three years after purchasing it. After a repair visit and not much of a choice with a pregnant wife and family to feed we took the plunge and bought LG from Best Buy. The sales experience was great, the delivery was good and the fridge is awesome. 20 cu. ft. was a downgrade compared to what we were used to. Fortunately with this fridge you don't notice it. I've been able to hold my normal grocery load in the fridge with no issue. The ice maker is cleverly designed although it doesn't seem to supply a large volume of cool water from it's dispenser. The ice cubes are tiny and limited in supply. You'll get about a cup or two worth of ice cubes and cool water before you're surprised with warm, tap water. The fridge does take quite some time to get cold initially but once it reaches temp... it's nice and cold and serves its purpose. I chose 'satisfaction and piece of mind' for my review title because I bought the LG brand because of it's satisfaction rate and known name for reliability in refrigerators. I'm happy customer that is slowly replacing all appliances to LG for the piece of mind of knowing that i'll have trouble free performance. My LG washer/dryer combo has been with us and been flawless in its 3 years of operation. Highly recommended through Best Buy.

We originally bought this refrigerator back in early November 2016, but it wasn't delivered until mid-January 2017 due to stock issues. We are really liking this refrigerator! Very quiet operation and good interior space for a counter-depth fridge/freezer. It fits in our kitchen perfectly and we love the in-door water and ice dispenser! However, the water does not come out of the fridge chilled, which is one the one downfall of this unit in my opinion. Water does taste good right from the dispenser and it's so nice to get rid of the clunky Brita pitcher taking up so much space! Ice production is sufficient for our family (just 2 of us right now). The handle on the freezer door was scratched during installation and the install guys noticed it, ordered a new handle and scheduled an install appointment for us at no cost! If you are looking for a new counter-depth refrigerator, this is a great option for a great price!

This is a great alternative to the much more expensive GE cafe counter depth series. We had to replace our GE which had a leaky water dispenser and so far really happy with the LG. It is spacious, efficient use of space and look good too. Happy with the purchase

I love this fridge! It's counter depth so you do lose some storage space but it's better than having the fridge take up kitchen space. I love the ice maker built-in the door. Has been a great fridge.

Having owned this fridge for a month now I can say that it is just about flawless. The fridge feels like it has a ton of space on the inside and with the French doors it feels larger than a side by side fridge. The only issue is that the ice in the ice maker will freeze up and clump together. This causes a backup and sometimes shuts the ice maker off because it trips the sensors even though the ice bucket is only 1/2 full. Overall a great fridge and I absolutely would choose this one again.

I love that it’s counter depth and that the freezer is a pull out drawer with a pull out shelf. I’m still getting used to organizing things differently from my last fridge, but I think I won’t lose things in the back because it isn’t as deep due to it’s counter depth. The water dispenser in the door was not functioning when it was delivered (water all over the floor) but the Geek Squad ordered a new part and had it fixed in about a week to 10 days. Works great now. Magnets will not adhere to the front, only to the sides of the fridge; it’s going to make my kitchen look neater, lol.

Overall we like the fridge. We went from a side by side and were looking forward to having more room and stuff not getting pushed to the back like it did with the old fridge. At first we weren’t sure if we liked the French door style but once we moved the shelves to accommodate what we put in there we were liking more and more. The ice maker bin is small but there’s an extra container to keep extra ice in freezer and we haven’t had an issue but there’s only 2 of us. I think the overall fridge is very nice and looks high end for a decent price.

It has really good shelving layout. Since it is counter depth, the slim ice maker offers a lot more storage on the door compared to other brands/designs. That is a huge plus. The water dispenser is a bit tricky. It's not a lever you push with your cup or glass. It's sort of like a big button with the dispense nozzle right in front of it. You position the cup in front of the button, underneath the nozzle and push. I always feel like the water will dribble down the edge of the cup and onto the floor. It hasn't yet. The doors also slam when they close. When the doors are about 2 inches from closing fully, the hinges sort of push the doors close, causing it to slam into the fridge unless you hold and gently close it. Despite these two small issues, I've been happy with the purchase.

I love this fridge. It looks great and makes ice really fast. The freezer door is easy to open unlike some French door freezers.

The ice maker is great. I can fill a bucket and still have ice left. Lots of room in the fridge.

The fridge is relatively quiet, has very customizable shelving, and looks premium. However, the LG filter is almost toxic (I had to buy a Culligan filter because of the horrible smell and taste from the LG. Yes, I flushed the LG filter with about 6 gallons of water, too) and the ice bin only holds enough ice for a couple of glasses. All in all, it's a great fridge for the price.

Fridge has plenty of space in main refrigerator area with efficient drawers and shelves. This is a fridge for a good sized kitchen and house. Some people may find the freezer compartment to be smaller than desired. But I do really like having the freezer drawer on the bottom. Now the dog or cat can’t walk by and thick their head in the fridge. :)

i like the bright LED lighting as well as the adjustable shelves. The sliding shelf for tall bottles has been beneficial. The water and ice dispenser work well. The door alarm is annoying, but I know it is there for a reason and it is doing it's job.
