Great refrigerator for reliability and ice. I like ice. I have had recurring problems with refrigerators with through the door ice makers. They break. They freeze. They take forever to deliver a pathetic quantity of tiny cubes and can break glasses by forcefully ejecting cubes. The ice maker takes up a large amount of refrigerator space. The LG LFCC22426S has an ice maker and ice storage box in the freezer. It makes and stores several quarts of reasonably sized cubes. You just open the freezer drawer and scoop out all the beautiful cubes you need, enough for a reasonably sized party. I own 2 of these refrigerators, one in my NJ house, one in my FL house. The one in NJ is the oldest, a couple of years. Both have operated flawlessly. As an Engineer, I know that the simpler a device is, the less likely it is to fail. Putting the ice maker in the freezer, not the refrigerator, and eliminating the complicated through the door ice delivery system makes the LG LFCC22426S inherently more reliable. It also wastes less space than the though the door delivery system.

Sleek and contemporary look in my remodeled kitchen. Counter depth with plenty of room. The lower third drawer is ideal for storing eggs and deli meat! So far working well!! Very quiet. Made ice the first night.

I like everything about this refrigerator except the ice maker. It makes great ice, it just doesn't know when to stop. When I open the freezer door, it should know that now is not the time to dump ice into the ice container. Instead, it dumps the ice into the bottom of the refrigerator. I deducted a point in my rating because of this. Other than that, it's been a good refrigerator. The water filter is easy to replace and the interior lighting is excellent.

My brand new refrigerator was making a buzzing sound. I called & they put in an order to replace it. The guys picking up the refrigerator & replacing it with the new one, asked what was wrong with the first one. When I told home about the buzzing sound, he said it was probably the ice maker. I told them I didn’t have one because I don’t have any water hook up. FYI I order the refrigerator with no ice dispenser because of that. The delivery guys looked at the switch on the inside of the freezer & found that the ice maker wasn’t turned off. Hence, the buzzing sound. I didn’t know there was a dispenser & you had to turn it off. It was trying to make ice but it wasn’t hooked up to water purposely. Therefore, I kept the first refrigerator because nothing was wrong with it. No one told me about that switch. As far as I knew, i ordered the refrigerator without the ice maker, period. Little did I know they all come with one, it just needed to be turned off. This is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5.

This refrigerator is great! I was debating against a bigger sized fridge, but I went with this one because the associate that helped us recommended a counter depth fridge for the space size we had at home. I realized I made the best decision once it was installed in my kitchen: anything bigger would’ve stuck out tremendously! The space is just right my favorite thing is that the stainless steel is easy to keep clean.

Such a nice option to have counter depth refrigerator combined with french doors. We have gained so much space in our kitchen compared to the old standard depth fridge we have. Some may think no water or ice dispenser is a fault but without this feature there is so much more room inside the fridge, We kept the old one thinking we would use the additional space but we don't need it. Filter water is there for the ice maker which works fantastic and is in the the pull out freezer. We have filtered water dispenser on our kitchen sink so not needed on the fridge. All is chilled and it has worked fantastic so far. 2 months. Great buy! BestBuy Installation team did a great job.

Only issue is drinks I put against the top center back wall freeze solid. I also don't like the way the doors tend to slam shut unless you fully open them and items in the door trays tip over in the tray if it's not completely full when that happens. Otherwise it has been trouble free for over almost 2 yrs so far. Makes a good amount of ice and has a lot of storage capacity. You can put a lot in the doors. You must open both doors to open one of the slide out trays, but the benefit is you can put long items in it.

The refrigerator is only 1 month old, but it is performing flawlessly. It is much quieter than our Samsung refrigerator was. The ice maker is very efficient and quiet. So far, we love this refrigerator.

This is a counter depth with the freezer on the bottom. It’s is great. The fruit and vegetable compartments are very roomy and so is the meet compartment. So much more room than a side by side and much easier to access everything!

I love this fridge. It's beautiful, quiet, spacious, and easy to clean. I had bought one just like it for the office and when it was time to buy a new one for home, getting this fridge was a no-brainer.

First, I want to say that we went with this brand and model because it got decent reviews, the dimensions fit the space we had in the kitchen, and it was in stock. I would have to wait until October for either of the makes and models I really wanted. Unfortunately, we didn't have that choice since our other fridge had died. The reason I didn't just give it one star is because it does its job. It cools and freezes. That's a pretty low bar, but there you have it. If that's what you're looking for, it's worked for the last three days. (I'll update the review if it stops working). Reasons I hate it are mostly related to the configuration of shelves and space. 1. First, don't believe the door clearance that is listed in the description. We have ours in a corner, but we have five inches of clearance on that side - more than is recommended. Still, the door won't open completely and so the drawers in the fridge don't open completely. It's also impossible to take the shelves out. 2. The shelves can only fit in a few positions. You wouldn't think this would be a big deal, but it definitely is. There is so much wasted space because we can't put the shelves at the height we'd like them to be. I think we'll end up just piling things on top of each others - which is sort of the opposite of what you want to do in a fridge. 2. There are big bars under each shelf in the center of the fridge that obstruct space for food on the shelf below. More wasted space. 3. The shelves don't pull out. This should be standard. 4. The door shelves are a nice size, but they are awkwardly spaced. I think there should be at least one more shelf/container on at least one of the doors. 5. Also, you cannot readjust the door shelves at all. Major drawback. 6. There is space at the bottom of the door that could hold more items, but it doesn't have any guard, so it's useless. 7. The freezer compartment feels cheap and is mostly plastic. 8. You should be able to adjust the doors' height. Right now, our doors aren't lining up. This is an issue for two reasons: while i measured the height and the fridge should fit perfectly, one door is too high and it prevents me from being able to open up the cabinet door above without opening the fridge. I'm also not convinced the fridge is getting a proper seal because the doors don't line up. The provide a tool to use to adjust them with nuts on the hinge of each door. The wrench they provide is junk, the positioning is awkward, and as far as I can tell, despite many efforts, the doors are still misaligned. I actually have a geek squad appointment to have it looked at. I swear if I have to send it back, I'm taking away that last star.

I am very pleased with this refrigerator. It’s not the fanciest, but it is perfect for a two family Home. It fits well in my small kitchen.

Things we were looking for in a fridge: 1.) lots of refrigerator space. 2.) ice dispenser didn’t take up a lot of storage space. 3.) fit the dimensions of our kitchen. So far we love everything about this fridge except the ice maker takes up a majority of the freezer space. The ice also has tasted weird which we thought originally had to do with our water but it must be the filter or the fridge itself. Other than that. I would recommend this fridge to anyone who is limited on kitchen space but doesn’t want to sacrifice on internal fridge space.

Our new refrigerator is sleek, spacious, and we appreciate having ample shelves and compartments.

We are very disappointed in the freezer function of our new LG refrigerator. Thick ice has formed on all of the food items and interior shelves in the freezer. Normally, this would indicate that the door is not closing or sealing properly. We followed the troubling-shooting guidelines in the manual and they were not helpful. We checked the door and the back of the refrigerator. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the door. This is very annoying.
