Don't buy this fridge

We've had this refrigerator 1 year and 3 months and it stopped cooling. We lost everything in it. If you're considering the Best Buy protection plan, don't bother. It's worthless. It took over a week for them to send someone out (which we had to pay an additional fee for on top of the protection plan we already pay for) and when they finally came out they misdiagnosed the issue and said we had to go through LG to get it fixed. It took another week for an LG technician to come out and they promptly found that the Best Buy technician was wrong and that it was in fact something they could have fixed. It's been 3 weeks and we still don't have a working refrigerator. Both LG and Best Buy are a nightmare to work with.

Why is it always the ice maker?

Both ice makers broke. It would be great if both ice makers worked. For $3K+, they should not break the after a little over a year.
