I bought a 24 inch insignia TV before this LG TV the insignia was garbage this LG smart TV is 10 times better. The remote is better. The picture is better but it was a little bit more money. I’ve only used it an antenna because I use it on my boat.

    Perfect fit for our kitchen

We bought this tv to replace an LG that quit working. This generation is elegantly styled with a very good picture and an interface that we find familiar. Hopefully it will last longer than the last one—the HDMI port failed which was rather odd.

    Excellent TV - LG - 24"

I purchased this as a replacement for an old 2010 LG 22” 1080p TV (which is still working just fine). My kitchen TV died, so I moved the 22” to the kitchen and needed a new TV for next to my computer to watch Sports while I do work on my computer. I sit about 30” away, so I prefer a 1080p TV over 720p so I don’t see any pixels. And since I watch fast moving sports, I prefer a 120Hz. There are very few 24” choices out there that fit these requirements. And the LG 24LB7000PUA TV has it all. Pros: The picture is absolutely gorgeous. Sharp and vivid which really should be no surprise for a 1080p TV in this size. And no dead pixels on my set. I didn’t care about the built-in LG streaming apps, since I use 4K firesticks on all of my TVs. This way I am familiar with only 1 style of remote. And yes, this TV can be setup to go directly to the firestick (on HDMI1) and bypass the LG home hub menu on startup. So, I basically can control everything I need from the firestick remote (ON/OFF, Volume, Mute and streaming controls). I like to keep things simple and I hate using 2 remotes to watch 1 TV! Works perfectly and keeps things simple. I like simple! I was also able to turn off the LG screensaver and just use the screensaver from the Firestick. Otherwise, when the LG screensaver kicked in, I would have to grab the LG remote to get the picture back (or power off/on with the Firestick remote). This was an easy setup change. The audio sounds a little clearer/better when connecting my external sound bar directly to the TV versus using the Firestick Bluetooth connection. Perhaps it’s the LG AI sound pro feature of the TV is better than the Firestick’s audio software. Plus using the Bluetooth connection directly to the TV gives you more control over the volume stepping. Makes it easier to find the exact sound volume you want. Cons: The menu settings interface is a little slow and not laid out very logically. But I was able to find all the necessary settings (and there are a lot of them!). The remote control is really cluttered, and I wouldn’t want to use it for everyday use. Also, there appears to be a slight lag when hitting the buttons. Looks like LG packed a lot of options into this remote. And some of the buttons act differently if you long press vs short press. There are buttons which I don’t use or need on a daily basis and they just get in the way. If this bothers you, you can always purchase a universal remote with less buttons. My solution was to only use the Firestick remote, which is very simple to use. The sound via the internal TV speakers isn’t the best, but I didn’t really expect much from tiny speakers. I use an external sound bar via Bluetooth and that works very well. There are cheaper TV options out there, but this TV is worth the extra money. The IPS panel has beautiful color reproduction and great viewing angles. If you compare it to the cheaper TVs, you will notice a difference right away. And I have several other LG TV’s that have been very reliable, so the LG 24LB7000PUA was an easy decision.

Questions & Answers

  • Does the included remote have the ability to define a shortcut (for exanple, to jump to a particular application) on the long-press of a number key? Similar to other more expensive/larger LG TVs?

Hello, Eric! Thank you for sharing your information with us about the LG TV (24LB7000PUA). Yes, the included remote supports this feature. Even though the LG 24LB7000PUA comes packaged with a Standard Remote rather than the premium Magic Remote, the Quick Access function is built directly into the TV's webOS operating system. Because the standard remote has a physical number pad, you can define and use shortcuts by holding down a number key (0) to instantly launch your favorite apps or inputs. • Does the LB70 support the LG "Magic Remote" if I buy one separately? If so, what's the correct part number to pair with this TV?

As indicated in its title, the LG 24" Class LB70 Series Full HD Smart webOS TV (2026), Model # 24LB7000PUA, is a 2026 model running on LG's webOS TV Platform (webOS 26). It is an "LG AI Magic Remote Ready" TV, meaning it is compatible with the LG AI Magic Remote, Model # MR26GA, which is the compatible LG Magic Remote for all 2026 LG TVs running on LG's webOS TV Platform. You can search for the remote on Best Buy's site. It should have its own product detail page where you can add it to your cart...^Ivan.

Hi, there! Thank you for sharing your question with us about the LG LED TV (24LB7000PUA). Yes, this model includes built-in energy management settings that allow the screen to turn off or enter a blank/standby state after a period of inactivity. • Depending on your preference, you can utilize the Screen Off feature (which turns off the backlight while keeping audio playing): • Set the Auto Power Off timer to automatically turn the display black/off after a set duration, or enable the Sleep Timer. • You can verify that these settings are enabled by navigating to • Menu / Settings > Time / Eco Settings on your TV remote and confirming your desired timeout selection. • Remote included? Can I use it outdoors in covered patio? Wireless internet connection?

As with ALL LG Smart TVs, a remote control is included with the LG 24" Class LB70 Series Full HD Smart webOS TV (2026) Model: 24LB7000PUA. This TV comes with a standard LG remote control and starter batteries for it. The TV cannot be used outdoors, even on a covered patio, because manufacturer specifications list it as not outdoor-approved and LG does not recommend using any of their standard televisions outside. Covered patios still experience high humidity, morning dew, and damp air. These elements corrode internal circuit boards and cause electrical shorts. • ard consumer televisions are rated for specific indoor operating temperatures. Outdoor heat and freezing cold damage the LCD/LED panel and internal processors. Standard indoor screens lack the high-nit anti-glare panels required to combat ambient outdoor daylight, making the picture difficult to see, and installing an indoor-only television outside voids the manufacturer's warranty...^Ivan.
