    Good value

    Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space for our 2-person family. In-door ice and water dispenser is very convenient. Have not tried the Ice Plus feature yet. One recommendation is to have a half-shelf so that bottles of juice and milk can stand upright in the main refrigerator compartment and not the inside of the door. Overall, a very good value compared to more expensive Samsung model that we have had before.

    LG side by side

    We’re very happy with this LG refrigerator. It looks sleek, has plenty of storage space, and the counter-depth design fits nicely without sticking out too far. The French doors make everything easy to organize and access, and the ice maker has worked well. It runs quietly and keeps food consistently cold. Overall, a great refrigerator that combines a clean look with practical features

    Wonderful Addition to Kitchen

    This LG refrigerator has been such a great addition to my kitchen. The freezer offers generous storage, perfect for bulk items and meal prep.     Roomy Service So Good

    I am very happy with this refrigerator. I can easily see everything I have in it. The water and ice dispenser are very convenient to use. The water filter is in a place that will be easy to get to. And, the drawer type freezer has lots of room and good storage visibility. I also have noticed that my salad stayed crisp for a couple of days longer than before!

    Great upgrade from a Samsung!

    Love everything about this fridge. We upgraded from a Samsung and are 100% happy with the change. The old fridge leaked, iced over, and was just generally not the greatest. The LG offers not only more room but the ability to see everything. Plus, the tech is good, the icemaker does its thing, and it looks cool in our kitchen!

    The Energy Star® Qualified LG 36-in Counter-Depth MAX 25.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Smart Refrigerator with Ice Plus - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel Look, Model # LF26C6230V, does not require an additional part to work without a filter. It has a built-in water filter bypass mechanism. When the filter is removed, the mechanism blocks the filter housing to allow unfiltered water to continue flowing to your dispenser and ice maker. The filter manifold (the head where the filter twists in) contains a spring-loaded diverter valve. When you twist and remove the old water filter, the valve automatically shifts, bridging the inlet and outlet lines so the water line stays open. Bypassing the filter means the water and ice produced will be exactly the same quality as your home's tap water. If you have a dedicated inline Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System or an external whole-house filter, you do not have to use an LG water filter...^Ivan.
