Have had this washer for 6 weeks - using it several times a week - and am still very happy with it. My only concern has to do with its installation. As BB installers were leaving, they gave me some sort of legs/pegs and said I could use those to balance it... the top loader we replaced had off-balance problems and I'd assumed this was installed to prevent that. I'm a small, 70 yr old woman so I won't be hoisting it up to put something under it. Wonder is it supposed to have these under it? Photo attached of all the leftovers after installation - red circle around the legs to use to level (?).

Washes clothes much better than my previous top loader with less water. I don’t think the upgraded turbo model would be any different from my current needs judging by the price difference. The menu screen is not as illuminated but my laundry room is well lt. I particularly like the Wi-Fi compatibility as it is very convenient to access the features through the smart phone app. Contrary to what the instructions say, the Wi-Fi CAN log in to the 5G home router’s network. It just takes a little more ingenuity paring it during setup. I’m glad I made the right pick after doing an on line and Consumer Reports research.

Our new LG Washer/dryer it’s super quiet, easy to use and washes are close to a whole new clean level. It looks beautiful on its matching pedestal.

Installation went smoothly with the exception of me needing to move the catch pan location 9" to the right and relocate the drain hole so the washer door would open fully. You will be required to buy a new set of braided water hoses ($29.99) if Best Buy does the installation. As already known, it takes much longer to wash a load of clothes vs a top load. The clothes are as clean as the top load was. Nothing better or worse. The LG design wizards missed the boat on the location of the washer filter/drain tube (door) location. Per building code, washers are to be placed inside a catch pan with drain. The lip on the catch pan blocks the filter door from opening. Should have left off 2/3 of the useless settings and spent another couple bucks on moving this door up 5". I intend on removing the door entirely so I can remove/clean the filter per the manual. We will never use the majority of the vast array of settings or the wi-fi. When it stops washing, its done. I don't need washer info sent to my phone.... some millennial in need of constant attention thought that was a good idea? It's an over priced washer that appears to use less water and gets our clothes clean in about twice the time as our previous top load. *Make sure you have provisions to leave the washer door partially open all the time in between uses or mold will form.

Very well built, easy to use and gentle with clothes. Almost no vibration even at the highest spin speed. Energy efficient and water wise. Eligible for a rebate through the Department of Water and Power. Highly recommended.

The display is very hard to read. I thought I had to turn on the diplays light but you can't, they don't have one. Now I have to keep a small flashlight next to it. And forget reading the one way up on it matching Dryer stacked above it. Not even the flashlight would help even because it is too high to read, and I'm 6 feet tall. This is the first time I shopped for a washer and dryer and I really learned the hard way to really give the the products a good inspection and ask more questions about little details. The problem is that you get so caught up with the bells and whistles, that its easy to overlook a simple thing like is the display lighted. Although in the super bright lights of a showroom the display probably looked easier to read anyhow. And I really had a chuckle and still do every time the machine turns on/off and the cycles start/stop. It talks like R2D2m the short beeping robot in Star Wars; must be a distant relative. Even with this big disappointment, I will give it the 2 stars for its cleaning skills, I was especially pleased how it treated my pillows. Made them seem almost new again. Sill, I just can't get past that display, that's a really a big mistake in the design. And there's so many settings to choose from that you really need to see it well. If LG comes up with a way to swap out the display for a backlit one. I would even pay to have it done. I really have to stop in to the store and let them know how disappointed I am. If it wasn't beyond the point for returning it, I definitely would. Boo hoo.

This washer is beautiful and smart. You load it and it will determine the water level and then start. We are so happy with the washer we had to go out and get the matching dryer, and that was a great decision. Because they wash and dry quiet and are smart machines. I now recommend the LG appliance brand to friends now.

We are seriously in love w this set. Laundry in half the time... super easy to figure out & I don't feel like we waste a ton of water. The only thing is the pods with powder dont seem to dissolve but thats probably because its not being drowned by a tub full of water. We also have them stacked in a closet size space. We can't shut the door but they are not ugly to look at so that's fine for us. I highly recommend!!!

This is my 3rd LG washer. Same model and features. The only change this time was changing the dedicated buttons for wash options to a touch screen. The touchscreen appears to be designed to be backlit, as the options are etched in the glass. For whatever reason, they decided not to light the button selections or the text for the selected options. It is really hard to see light grey etched lettering on a black background. When I saw the model in the store, I assumed there would be some sort of lighting, but there isn't. I hate to complain, but this is stupid. The photos don't do it justice as the photos enhanced and brightened the options.

We've done about three loads a day for one week straight and so far no issues. The washer looks so beautiful in white. Can't be happier with this purchase.

I buy a lot of LG washer and dryers for property management. When it came time to purchase new ones for my family, I chose LG for reliability. This washer has amazing functionality, heavy duty or a speed wash. No problems with pods not dissolving or residue from HE. Very adjustable and length of time is great. The matching dryer with steam is top notch. Manny at Pico location was wonderful and have recommended him and this set to friends.

So the machine itself it’s beautiful, the size is perfect for even nice size comforters to be washed... the one thing that i don’t like, and that’s why the 4 stars, it’s that is a bit noisy, much louder than the one we had before, but other than that, it’s been perfect overall, the setting are very easy to maneuver.

This is a really nice washing machine! I like the variation in setting and how clean my clothes are. I can also do fairly large washes with no issues.

The washer works great. Installers tried twice to set u internet but no dice. Also the screen on the front is a crime. Who let this thing pass initial drawings? Screen cannot be read without a flashlight - anytime! There is no backlight and that is just unbelievable! Fire the person that approved this! But like I said - the washer works great - as long as you have a flashlight to set it up!

Bought this machine when it went on sale in November. It’s now June and I still love this machine. My only complaint is that the top of it scratches really easy if you put stuff on top of it.
