At this price point, this is the BEST unit. It is superior than even units that have SMART features.( Ex Sharp Insignia and other no name brands)... It is the BEST value per dollar. The picture is 5 star and the build quality is excellent. Tech permits, this unit will last . However there are two Cons 1. ONLY 2 HDMI!! 2. Sound quality is terrible. The sound is easy fix as you simply hook up to sound bar or reciever ( if your ol school like me) . The limited HDMI inputs ..yikes. I had been using a Plasma TV until its picture started to go... My set up is I. CRT Sony Trinitron for Sega Genesis, PS 2, N64, Xbox 360 white, and DreamCast II. Panasonic CRT for NES,SNES,GameCube, Wii and This TV is where my NES Classic, SNES Classic, and Xbox360 Starwars Edition along with everyday TV use (cable).... Cable box uses 1 HDMI and its a switcher Ro with the second HDMI... However do I prefer doing that Vs having another TV like the Sharp and Insignia or any other unit in the $280-250 price range... Absolutely . The LG picture is on par with higher end sets yes you do not have SMART BUT get a Chromecast/Xbox with wireless and there ya go. Its worth it and if your smart you will also see that too. Blacks are deep, and colors are fluid. I did not see that with other units. LG is what Samsung USED to be and what Sony is getting back to becoming.

Color is great; sharp picture.Price I got was terrific. I bought two of these TVs. The one in the BR has no soundbar; the one in the LR does. Not sure the LR TV would be loud enough without the sound bar but my bed room is tiny, so it's okay.

I purchased this TV for my nearly 70-year-old parents. As they honestly could care less about all the other bells and whistles of most TVs today such as Hulu, Netflix, etc. it does come obviously with those features however the most important thing is the TV was very easy to use and set up for them and they really enjoyed the picture quality. And better yet I really enjoyed the price so in the end we're all happy

After reading a lot of negative reviews, I became concerned about my LG selection. Luckily, I like to read all directions (with the exception of assembly). After prompting the remote, I found a plethora of controls for picture quality/audio modes i.e. Cinema, Sports, Game, Vivid...), you can even turn off Audio Guidance. One valid complaint is the speakers could have been better. Definitely recommend the sound bar... although, it shouldn't be necessary.

I purchased this TV set for my son. We are both amazed at the beautiful crisp picture and the excellent color. He hasn’t hooked it up to an HD cable box yet, but we’re both sure if the picture got any better when he does, it will be an unbelievable difference! Great television for the price!

This TV is GREAT! You turn it on and it speaks to you, right outta the box. Nice voice too, gives SIRI a run for her money. Set-up is a breeze and the picture is spot on. Plug in a USB stick and watch a slideshow of video with ease. Hook up an Xbox and you won't leave the room for days! Good speakers and easy to use remote make this a no-brainer. Enjoy!

Bought this as an inexpensive upgrade to the old TV in a second home. Great picture with reliable features. Very easy setup, but limited in its audio performance. Small speaker with no audio output jack to add an external speaker or soundbar. Other than that, great value!

Bought this TV after returning a different one. Needed just an LED TV with the basics. Easy to hookup. Have had about a week and have not had any issues with it. The picture color and clarity is great.

We needed a smaller tv to fit in an armoir in our guest room that could also double as a tailgate tv. Didn't want to sacrifice picture quality just because the tv wasn't going to be used everyday, but didn't have a need for the smart features either. This tv fit all our needs perfectly and at a great price! Everyone has been impressed with the picture quality. The built in tv tuner picks up all the desired channels with an antenna which makes our guests happy. It also works perfect for watching the early games when tailgating. Couldn't be happier with the purchase!

This television was purchased for use in a bedroom of a terminally ill person. He found it easy to use. It was hooked up to a LG soundbar and wireless subwoofer combo, so I do not know how the sound would be without the soundbar. Set up was easy. Picture was good.

Purchased this TV for the spare bedroom my parents stay in while being snowbirds. Was easy to set up and has a nice picture. For the money, definitely hard to beat for a good quality picture.

We didn't really want a full "smart" TV since we were hooking up a Chromecast so this one was perfect. Really light weight and easy to wall mount. Sound and picture is really good. Has three HDMI inputs that are easily accessible.

The tv is the perfect size for the bedroom. it is vibrant and the colors are great. My room is not that big so the sound of it is perfectly fine. the stands are almost to the edge of the tv so you cant use a small table.
