A: Lrgl 5825F Convection oven is referred to as a TRUE CONVECTION Oven. LRGL is a STANDARD Convection. Standard has single or dual fans and element. Uses a fan and exhaust system. Superior to traditional oven cooking. True convection (also known as European convection) has 3 elements and 3 fans. Oven temperature is more uniform. Vastly superior baking, roasting, browning to Standard. Convection gives a crispy outer layer while inside a chicken or turkey stays juicy. Good for roasted veggies. Best for browning. Cookies., toasted nuts. Use lightweight pans made of aluminum( can be disposal) or metal. Glass and cast iron not good for convection. Read up on when to use convection because the fan blows air around and moist foods prone to shifting and splattering. (Like quick breads, custards, souffles) CAKES best in regular bake mode as these fans create a steady dry heat and the surface of foods will be dry. The front of both ranges are different . Lrgl 5823S has a full width Black oven door and a different top control panel size with different options vs Lrgl 5825F.
Q: When the griddle is removed, can the burner be used like a regular burner?
A: The center, oval burner is for use with a griddle or oval pots. ^Daphane

A: Hi Danielle. Thank you for your inquiry. You will be able to purchase the air fry basket on LG.com in about 30 days. We appreciate your patience! Have a great day!! - Craig LG Electronics
A: Regrettably, the melody can not be turned off. ^Daphane
Q: Could you please tell me what the knobs are made of. Thank you.
A: They feel as if they are made of the same material as the stove top. They aren't flimsy plastic knobs.

I wish there was an option for 4.5 stars. The stove itself is fine so far. All the different size and power burners will take a little getting used to, but that is to be expected coming from a 30-year-old stove. Haven't tried all the features yet, but love the tap-on oven light and have used air fry to warm and crispen up a few things. It also lets me know via app and a tone on the stove when oven is preheated, a real upgrade for me. My only complaint is that nobody ever mentioned that newer (especially Convection?) ranges can have problems fitting in at the same depth as older ones if the gas supply protrudes from the wall. I'm now stuck with a stove that protrudes a couple of inches more than I would like, and has a 2-inch or so gap behind, so anything set on top of the stove (i.e. salt and pepper shakers, etc) is more than likely to fall off the back. As I live in an older condo building, there may be nothing I can do to fix it. Please educate your sales folks to ask about this when working with people replacing older stoves.
