I was thinking about buying a cheap Black Friday tv but remembered the saying quality of quantity. So I did some research and found this nice OLED 55” LG on sale! Unboxing was alittle scary bc the panel is so thin. Set up was super easy and configuring the picture was easy too. First impressions, I can see everything super clear at any angle. The TV has good blacks and the 120 htz shines when you turn it on. Playing games on it was super amazing. Highly recommended tv!!!

Best OLED TV for those that can go around the thousand dollar range (on sale) in budget. Colors are crisp and blacks are dark, lots of different modes for what you are watching make it very easy for a user to pick what they need. Gaming on the TV offers 120 HZ, and very low input lag. Remote is good but takes getting used to pointing it at the TV. Overall would recommend to anyone that isn’t ready to fork over 2000 dollar on premium TVs.

Good over all tv thought there's likely something better in this pricepoint. For a grand the remote should be back lit, and I'm not crazy about the wireless WII function of it, it's too sensitive most of the time. The picture quality is great. AI functions are kind of gimmicky, and the menu is lack luster. You need a degree in IT to figure out the menu and some of the settings are contraindicative or unintuitive. That being said it's a great turn key solution for most people.

This TV set was highly touted in an email from LG. They said it is an amazingly priced, 55”, OLED TV for only $999 and good until December 24th. I tried to do some research on it but got nowhere online or at the store. I decided to buy it and see because, after all, something this “State of the Art” had to be nothing less than amazing right? Not for this older guy. As expected, it looked amazing but then again, how much better can a picture get today? My main issue was the “Over the Air Guide” (OTA) since I refuse to pay for cable, dish or streaming any longer. I was assured by 2 people that it had a good "guide” so I took it home but, after one day of use, it went right back! The guide screen came on, but it was frozen. It showed all my channels but only 2 of them had any program info. The rest of them had the words: “No Information”! (See the picture). Here are some of the pros & cons I had with this TV: A defective (frozen up) OTA guide screen. The remote has an on screen “mouse like pointer” that will not go away and, even on the slow setting, it moves way too fast! You can turn it off but it comes right back whenever you click on anything. VERY IRRITATING. Some of the print on the remote is too light to read (on purpose I believe). They want you to use the mouse and the voice command features. There is no clock that appears on the screen when using the remote control. You can bring it up with 2 or 3 key strokes but that shouldn't be IMO. The menu system is complex and some of needed features are well hidden in it. The picture is everything you’d expect from an OLED, the sound is plenty loud with a lot of useful settings. Most of the functions lean toward letting the TV decide what the picture and sound should be set at. I don't like that. If I were to stream or have a service provider, the set would be great since they have their own guide but that’s not what I want. I don’t even set it up as a smart TV since I don’t want my TV telling me what it thinks I like. Honestly folks, the more technology these products get, the more useless they are to most of us over 50.

Impeccable price. Impeccable visuals on everything. 120hz/4k. Works well with the Xbox Series X. The sound is so good you don't need a sound bar.

My first OLED TV. Amazing picture quality. Coming from a entry level 4K TV to OLED 4K, my PS5 games look beautiful and with much better frame rate and no significant input lag.

Amazing colors, settings, and my ps5 gaming looks better than ever! Oh and while lg's home screen shows ads, I never see them. I turn on my tv to a screensaver (it tries connecting to ps5 automatically, which is usually in standby) then keep hitting my YouTube shortcut til that boots up. Free protip in a review for ya!

I’m super happy with this TV! Great crisp picture and the sound is amazing. Loud enough that you really don’t need an external sound system if you’re on a budget. I even experience a surround sound with certain shows which really surprised me! If you’re looking for a quality TV that won’t break your bank account, This is great choice!! You won’t be disappointed!

I've missed having the deep color ranges and near instant response time of an old school cathode ray tube television, and this TV is the closest I can get while getting more than I ever could out of a CRT TV. Playing old console games on Sega and Nintendo systems somehow feels right again. Newer content at 4k is ridiculously detailed. Upscaling old content and smoothing isn't always perfect but no one should expect it to be; with that said it's amazing what it can do to 90's tv shows like Star Trek: DS9 or animated content like My Neighbor Totoro, Cuphead, and so on. The one time it didn't perform well was a lower resolution video file of an aerial shot looking down on a very mountainous area with lots of trees while panning: there was screen tearing in 4 horizontal sections across the screen the entire few minutes. Of course, turning off upscaling and smoothing fixed it and, in complete fairness, I didn't expect it to work. What I find most fascinating is that on a pure black screen, even in a dark room with the lights off, I can't tell if it's even on. It does somehow feels like it puts out less harsh light and feels like I experience less eye strain. It's also absurdly thin up top. Delivery was also quick and simple, maybe 5-10 minutes max from them pulling into the driveway and being done, no mess, no fuss. So far, 10/10, would buy the TV and gladly have it delivered again.

Beatbuy's delivery was quick and professional. Had a small learning curve on how what works. Not to difficult and once it was up and running the picture quality is great. Still have a few things to learn but other than that it's great.

Definitely worth the price. A little scary moving it from the box to the tv stand. As its the thickness of a sheet of glass. Everyone that comes over says what great picture quality it has. I always use a sound bar so i cant say much on sound quality.
