Q: What size turkey will fit in the lower oven????

A: We've baked a 28 lb whole turkey plus pan and rack in the bottom oven (has pullout racks) and smaller sized birds (whole or breast) in the top oven simultaneously. This was much easier than a single drawer oven. The dual ovens allowed for separate heating/cook times more efficiently than the single drawer stoves.

Q: what size turkey can I cook in the lower oven, It looks so small '

A: The lower oven is the bigger of the two with 4.3 cu ft. There is plenty of space for any size turkey.

Q: Hello - does anyone know what the difference is between Model LDE4415 and LDE4413 other than the price? LDE4411 has NO cleaning cycle (other than 10 min = worthless) but what about these two? Thank you!

A: The only difference i see is that the LDE4415 has an infra-red broiler in the top oven that makes the food taste like it was done on an outside grill. I bought the LDE4415 and love it so far! It does take some getting used to though. I have noticed that the ovens preheat a lot faster than my last oven.

Q: how do you lock the front knobs?

A: You don't. Consumer Reports has tons of people complaining that it got bumped and filled their house with gas. I have the electric model and its the same, only with less deadly consequences.

Q: Can you lock the front knobs that control the cook top? I see that you can lock the oven doors, but don't see anything about being able to lock the knobs.

A: Yes, the lock controls the burners as well as the oven doors. You hold the lock button for three seconds and then everything goes into lock mode. It takes about 15-30 seconds for the oven doors to lock. The burner knobs are almost instant. At least that's how it works on the model we purchased.

Q: What size breaker is required for this oven

A: The size of breaker required for the LG 7.3 cu. ft. Electric Double Oven Range with ProBake Convection®, EasyClean® and Infrared Heating™ System, Model # LDE4415ST will depend on the size of the wire and the type of insulation on the wire if a new circuit breaker is to be installed for a range on an existing circuit. The range circuits in many older homes were wired with 8-gauge wire and older wiring including sheathed cable wiring was rated at 60 degrees Celsius. According to National Electrical Code (NEC) table 310-16, 8-gauge wiring rated at 60 C may carry up to 40 amperes of current. The circuit breaker for that type of wiring must not be greater than 40 amperes. Modern ranges are capable of using more than 40 amperes of current, which was the older standard for electric ovens and ranges. Most new residential house wiring uses sheathed cable with insulation rated at 90 degrees Celsius. The NEC also specifies that sheathed cable must use the 60-degree rating for wire ampacity, regardless of of the insulation rating. Since modern electric ovens and ranges can use more than 40 amperes, the next size wire must be used, which is 6-gauge wire. Six-gauge sheathed cable may carry up to 55 amperes, which dictates the maximum circuit breaker size. Since the electric oven and range don't require that much current, 50-ampere breakers are the norm. The owner's manual for the LDE4415ST states that the LDE4415ST requires a single-phase, 3 wire, A.C 120/208 V or 120/240 V 60 Hz electrical system. Use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL - listed range cord with closed-loop terminals, open-end spade lugs with upturned ends or similar termination. Do not install the power cord without a strain relief. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 120/208 or 120/240 minimum volt range is required. If a 50 amp range cord is used, it should be marked for use with 13/8" diameter connection openings. This appliance may be connected by means of a conduit or power cord. The range rating in watts at 208V is 11.6 kW and at 240V it is 15.5 kW so if you are using a 3-wire power supply cord, the specified rating of the power supply cord can be either 40 or 50A...^IFV

Q: Is this stainless hard to keep clean? Does anyone have any feedback on this range after using it for a while?

A: Honestly, I have all-stainless steel appliances now and cleaning is not that difficult. I do not use any specialized product; clean them with a damp cloth and some detergent, then simply pass a cloth SLIGHTLY oily. Any cooking oil will do, but you can also use furniture cleaning products like Orange-Glo (don't exaggerate). May seem absurd, but try it and you'll see it for yourself. Also, once treated like that the surface remains finger streak-free for 1-2 weeks.

Q: What’s the difference between these two models, LDE4415ST and LDE4413ST?

A: Well when the difference between the two prices is $1,000 today. The answer given by LG below is NOT acceptable. So, Thanks for nothing.
