This monitor is beautiful. Going from a 1080p monitor to 1440p is like night and day. I’ve definitely spoiled myself with the QHD resolution – I don’t want to go back to 1080p. Everything looks so much clearer, and even going back to some of my favorite games, I noticed details I completely missed before. The colors pop, and the refresh rate makes everything feel super smooth, especially during fast-action moments. The 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time keep everything crisp and responsive. It’s also awesome that it supports both G-SYNC and FreeSync, so no screen tearing or stuttering. If you’re looking for a 1440p monitor, this one won’t disappoint. It’s a great balance of performance and picture quality, and I’m honestly not disappointed in any way. If you're upgrading from a lower resolution, you’ll feel the difference immediately.

I had to get a nice monitor with my PC purchased and decided on LG. I have a LG OLED TV and so far I haven’t had no problems, same said with this monitor too. It may not be OLED but the picture is still amazing and the FPS capping at 180 is enough for me. I’m really happy with this purchase.

Here's my review for two types of consumers: "Looking to get a better monitor, but I'm not super into the tech world." - Great upgrade from a 1080p monitor! It's worth the price to switch; the colors look sharp, and the higher refresh rate is very noticeable. You won't regret it! "I'm a gamer/I'm a video editor." - This would be a strong recommendation if you're looking for a strong IPS monitor. I'd recommend taking about 10 mins to research the difference between VA and IPS and see which ones cater to your needs. If you're looking for a mid-value monitor (compared to something like an OLED), this would be my choice.

Not bad, but the brightness is underwhelming. If you prefer a more dim brightness than it’s for you. If not go for at least 400 nits. Still a great choice for high refresh 1440p though.

Crisp and beautiful picture and honestly pretty good sound. Is compatible with my pc and very easy to use! It did come with scratches so I'm unsure if that'll hurt it any...? Update: 09/29/2025 Just today I started experiencing a green line shooting across the screen. Thinking it was the HDMI connection I switched it out yet it still happened. I messaged support and was offered a solution (as I couldn't afford the protection plan) and I will update once anything comes of it!

The LG UltraGear monitors are really good for gaming and everyday use. The screen looks bright and colorful, and everything feels super smooth because of the high refresh rate. Games run without lag or screen tearing, which makes a big difference. It also looks nice on a desk with its slim design. The only downside is that the I could not find easy access to change brightness, but overall it’s a great monitor for the price.

Great monitor for gaming but the colors are kinda lacking the blacks aren’t as deep as higher end models

This is a great gaming monitor. It’s got a 1 mm second delay. I play call of duty. It is perfect for any kind of shooter game. It has great color. I would recommend this to anybody in the price is nice.

Since i’ve had its given me NO problems, would recommend to anyone needing or wanting a monitor.

Works wonderfully and without issue. The upgrade from a 75Hz 1080p display to this one has been very noticeable.

Really good for the Price, Perfect for most people specially if paired with a gaming console like ps5/xbox, has amd freesync and works flawlessly. as well as Gsync when paired with an Nvidia Gpu pc build.

Awesome entry gaming monitor, you need to buy speakers for this monitor. I wasn't aware of this at the time of purchase. So keep that in mind if it's an issue.
