As you have noted, it is Bluetooth version 4.0 and it supports the SBC and AAC codecs. Released in 2010, the most popular Bluetooth version used today is 4.0. Like Bluetooth version 5.0, it can handle the highest quality wireless audio available, and with plenty of room to spare.
