Absolutely Love LIFX! This newer upgrade version allows for an easy setup without having to scan codes. Truly just one of the best smart light bulbs on the market with no need for a hub. I have supported LIFX since 8 years ago and have not stopped buying their products! Excellent quality, easy to use interface and unparalleled hues!

I really like these smart bulbs. Their bright colors sold me over the Phillips Hue. I currently own 4 and intend to get more. They can be expensive but I feel they are worth it. Can do a lot of neat things with IFTTT. I'm one of those guys that never really likes to keep my phone actually on me when I am at home so its nice to have my LIFX bulbs flash different colors if I receive a text message or miss a call.

LIFX is doing all my smart home environment on lighting and I’m pretty happy. With twelve bulbs, two switches and counting I chose and I’m investing in LIFX over brands like Philips Hue, GE CYNC and Sengled and I have no regrets. My first A19 bulb purchase date from 2018 and it is still live & kicking just like those I’ve purchased a few months ago. I confess that I was quite apprehensive with the recent acquisition of assets by the Feit Electric, but I could already notice some improvements in the functionality and responsiveness of the server with a firmware update. A strange and still unexplained thing that I’ve noticed was the change of MAC Addresses (last two characters) after a firmware update (v3.90), and it required some work since I use MAC Filtering on my router. I would very much like to see some boldness in design and functionality on the switch side. It's amazing to see what Chinese brands are doing with LCD screens and even communication features, but the most reputable US brands are stuck and limited on current standards.

The LIFX bulbs are the best smart bulbs in my opinion. They are brighter than the Philips Hue and they do not require a hub. They work with the Amazon Echo and Echo Dot without IFTTT but you can still use IFTTT if you want to do more with them. The app is decent and will only get better over time. Setup is extremely easy via the app. As an Android fan, I will admit that the iOS app seems to work better. There are a ton of color options and the Whites are very bright. The only draw back is that I sometimes run into issues with having the Echo change colors. If I don't word my request correctly, Alexa doesn't play nice. I have five bulbs (with 2 on order to make 7) and one of my bulbs had an issue changing colors via the Echo. After doing some digging online, I found a post on reddit and the person said to add the word "The" in front of the device name. That fixed my issue. I hope that LIFX releases more bulbs to compete with the other Philips bulbs and Hue friends.

This light bulb has been a game changer in my work studio. Can with set the mood to relax, game with friends, create art work when I’m feeling productive or take a nap using the softest light color while turning down the output. Also being able to turn it off and on using wifi gives me the ability to set the mood of my studio before I even step in. Best investment hands down!

I had my doubts at first but I honestly love this bulb! The bulb does get a little toasty so definitely don't use this in an enclosed housing and the set up process for verifying the WiFi network through the LIFX app were the only shortfalls but beyond that, everything works as advertised! The app lets you control the exact hue, opacity and brightness to let you exactly customize your color setup which works perfectly! I like how you can also come up with personal color settings that you can flip to really quickly. The light schedule was also a nice touch! 10/10 would recommend and I plan on getting more for my movie room!

I chose the LIFX bulbs because they are brighter than the Philips Hue. They also do not require a hub and they work with my Amazon Echo and Echo Dot. I have a total of 6 LIFX bulbs, the LIFX Z strip and plan to purchase more throughout the year. The app also works great. Though I am an Android user, I prefer the setup of the bulbs via iOS. Hopefully LIFX releases a few more lights like the other philips lights.

These lightbulbs are great! They work with the Echo. I can tell it to turn the lights on/off or change the color of them. For some things you need to use the app but that easy to operate also. Great product.

I connected my LIFX bulb into my HomeKit home. Works well with the Lutron Caseta system that was already established, but only via HomeKit. Only con is for the price of 2, your looking at the price of the Hue Play 2 pack, and those are ready to go fixtures. Regardless, already owning a suitable lamp, this has integrated well into my smart home.

My family and I LOVE these bulbs. Started off with two just to try. We've decided to do the entire home with these. From drivent shades of whites to a variety of colors that pulse with your music! Wifi connectivity is quick. The ONLY CON would have to be the price. It's pricey for a light bulb. I still recommend these.

Before purchasing a LIFX bulb I had only used Philips Hue and some other top brands. They are great. BUT any of them next to a LIFX bulb are left in the shadows! The colors are so incredibly rich, especially the ones that make all the others (blue green red, warm/cool white), the 1100 lumens are brighter than I could really handle in a mood size room honestly, and the software control is fantastic. WiFi connectivity was a breeze, no drops in over a month. (2.4ghz and static IP) I can't say enough good things about these- even the shape of the bulb is slick. However - while the hub-less WiFi connection may be quick, it leaves alot to be desired in the software as far as scenes, grouping, FX, and multi light control. This is where Philips hue wins hands down. Not having the ability to adjust groups as a whole, as well as individually within the group and work with a " set " or a room as a pallate easily is very frustrating. These bulbs with an app like Hue would be truly untouchable. I hope they improve on it. Don't get me wrong- you can do what you'd expect, but it's just not as fluid and simple as the hue app. Hard to get creative. Few quick points: They are pricey. On avg ~$10 more than the already expensive hue bulbs. -They work with Google home, SmartThings, Yonomi.. Pretty much all smart home apps. -It's not easy, but you can work with LIFX + Hue or bulb X as a group using an app such as SmartThings. -They are built sturdy and have a nice weight to them. -The diffusion is great but the work best facing up in a lamp or down from above. Sideways not so much. -Worth every penny (I have 3 now) to be immersed in warm glows, bright daylight (they go up to 6500K I believe? ) and colors that you want to eat they are so rich! If you're into smart lights, you owe yourself at least one! Or 5! Highly recommend!

Best set of smart bulbs out there! I was in between Philips Hue and Lifx, and after some good research on reviews etc, found Lifx bulbs to offer a better color depth, brightness, etc I was looking for. I also like an additional “bridge” isn’t needed for this product and is controlled completely thru wifi/bluetooth and app. I got 3 bulbs, one in each lamp and I am very happy with the results! I definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase smart color bulbs!

I bought a smart bulb elsewhere and didn't realize that one required 2.4 GHz and wouldn't connect to 5 GHz on my wifi network (plus it was a beast to connect and I'm not sure it even was connected right). SO back it went and I got this LIFX at Best Buy and it's terrific! Setup was fast and easy on 5 Ghz, the app on android phone works great, seamless interface with new Amazon Echo Dot. "Alexa...turn on lamp" beats the "clap-on clap-off" your grandma had!!! LOL!

Much better than the earlier version that came without HomeKit.

These have incredible color, and I really love the Themes which you can set you lights to.. They were easy to setup, and the work with or without a smarthub.

Great color led bulb Colors are vibrant Light gets bright (75 watt equivalent) Don't need to purchase a Hub to use Programmed through WiFi Controlled through app Only con is slightly more expensive than other available brands , and syncing the first time can take some work. But color vibrancy is good , brightness is better than most, and app (once synced) has been very responsive

Works great with my Alexa! I now have about 10 of these, and will probably get more over time.

If you just need 1 smart bulb for a simple room setup then I would recommend this brand over the more expensive ones. And yes, it works great with Google Home!
