Lightnin' Hopkins - California Mudslide & Earthquake - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Originally released in 1969 with Vault records and recorded at Vault Studios, Hollywood, this often forgotten gem is Lightnin' exactly as you'd want him; sitting in a room with nothing else but his voice, a guitar, and a piano, gently underlining himself as one of the true legends of blues music history. With his renowned voice, unmistakable playing style and occasional appearance of a backing band, Hopkins' remarkable talent never disappoints as he takes you on a journey across America. With tracks including 'California Mudslide', 'Easy on Your Heels' and 'Los Angeles Blues'.

The Lacs introduced country fans to what they like to call Hick Hop and in doing so, they have become one of the hottest Southern Rock/Country Rap duos with their highly successful debut , COUNTRY BOY'S PARADISE, followed by their sophomore album, 190 PROOF. They return with their latest offering, KEEP IT REDNECK, which is packed with 15 slammin' tracks that are sure to have fans playing it loud and proud in true Redneck tradition. Features guest artists such as Noah Gordon, Sarah Ross, Colt Ford & JJ Lawhorn.

From Me to You is Andrew Sandoval's fourth album. Laden with Beach Boys like harmonies (courtesy of Brian Wilson Band members Nelson Bragg and Probyn Gregory), rich acoustic tones and real strings, this record has been described as his best yet. The whole package has a nostalgic feeling from the warm analog production to the unique gatefold Mini-LP sleeve; with custom poster. Sandoval is known not only as a singer/songwriter, but also as a collaborator with Dave Davies of the Kinks, author of the definitive book on the Monkees and host of the '60s inspired weekly radio program, Come to the Sunshine. His myriad of pop culture exploits have won Andrew an international cult following that continues to grow and grow.
