Limited double 180 gram vinyl LP pressing. The Infamous is the second studio album by the American hip hop duo Mobb Deep, released in 1995. The album features guest appearances from Nas and Wu-Tang Clan members Reakwon and Ghostface Killah. It marked Mobb Deep's transition from a relatively unknown rap duo to an influential and commercially successful one. One of the cornerstones of the New York hardcore movement, The Infamous is Mobb Deep's masterpiece, a relentlessly bleak song cycle that's been hailed by hardcore rap fans as one of the most realistic gangsta albums ever recorded. This is hard, underground hip hop that demands to be met on it's own terms, with few melodic hooks to draw the listener in. Similarly, there's little pleasure or relief offered in the picture of the streets Mobb Deep paint here. They inhabit a war zone where crime and paranoia hang constantly in the air. The product of an uncommon artistic vision, The Infamous stands as an all-time gangsta/hardcore classic. Album Tracks 1. The Start of Your Ending (41st Side) 2. [The Infamous Prelude] 3. Survival of the Fittest 4. Eye for a Eye (Your Beef Is Mines) 5. [Just Step Prelude] 6. Give Up the Goods (Just Step) 7. Temperature's Rising 8. Up North Trip 1. Trife Life 2. Q.U. - Hectic 3. Right Back at You 4. [The Grave Prelude] 5. Cradle to the Grave 6. Drink Away the Pain (Situations) 7. Shook Ones Pt. II 8. Party Over

Vinyl LP repressing of this 1988 album from the British band fronted by the troubled genius that is Shane MacGowan. If I Should Fall From Grace With God was the band's third studio full length album. Released in the wake of the band's biggest hit single, 'Fairytale of New York', it was their best-selling album, peaking at #3 in the UK Album charts and reaching the Top Ten in several other countries. If I Should Fall from Grace with God saw the departure of original bassist Cait O'Riordan and the addition of her former bandmate Darryl Hunt, Phil Chevron and ex-Steeleye Span member Terry Woods to the line-up. Woods and Chevron (the only two members of the Pogues actually born in Ireland) contributed the first original songs to a Pogues album not written by singer Shane MacGowan or banjo player Jem Finer, and the album also saw the band begin to move away from their Irish folk/punk roots and start to incorporate musical styles from other parts of the world, most notably Turkey and Spain. Album Tracks 1. If I Should Fall from Grace with God 2. Turkish Song of the Damned 3. Bottle of Smoke 4. Fairytale of New York - Featuring - Kirsty MacColl 5. Metropolis 6. Thousands Are Sailing 1. Fiesta 2. Medley 3. Streets of Sorrow / Birmingham Six 4. Lullaby of London 5. Sit Down By the Fire 6. The Broad Majestic Shannon 7. Worms

Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression. This LP version comes pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Album Tracks 1. My Own Summer (Shove It) 2. Lhabia 3. Mascara 4. Around the Fur 5. Rickets 6. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) 7. Lotion 8. Dai the Flu 9. Headup 10. MX
