A: Hi, Steve. The EA7450 supports speeds of up to 1.9 Gbps with the 2.4 GHz up to 300 Mbps and 1600 Mbps for the 5 GHz radio. The EA7500 supports 1.9 Gbps and has PHY Data rate up to 600 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz and up to 1300 Mbps for the 5 GHz radio. A: Short answer: No. Long answer: This is just a WiFi router (network distribution point). It will connect all your in-home device to each other. However, you still need a service provider and their gear (cable modem, etc.) to connect the router to the internet (through an included ethernet cable). They will still charge for their service. They will have a monthly charge.
A: Modem uses docsis to communicate with spectrum’s network. Router should work fine :)
