Lionheart - The Reality Of Miracles - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

In 2017 the album 'Second Nature' hailed Lionheart's triumphant return to the melodic rock music scene with a collection of powerful and memorable songs featuring the distinctive harmony vocals and harmony lead guitars for which Lionheart were so renowned. The first Lionheart album to feature the extraordinary talent of Lee Small on lead vocal, the album was released in Japan (on King Records) and Europe. Unfortunately in 2020 the European deal lapsed and the album disappeared from the markets outside of Japan. Now Metalville Records have stepped up to the plate and are releasing a repackaged version of the 'Second Nature' album globally for the first time. To mark this special event the album has been re-mastered to sound punchier than ever, and now also includes 2 bonus tracks. The will also include the remarkable 'Circle Of Bands' chart by Tristan Greatrex which has been brought up to date and which was up to now only available in the Japanese .

As soon as the previous album InchThe Reality Of MiraclesInch hit the shelves in 2020 Lionheart knuckled down to record the next one. Deciding early on that this time they would produce a concept album. The record centres around WW2, but the band very much wanted to make this an anti-war album, while at the same time remembering those who fought for our freedom. The songs on the album are sensational, with Lee Small's emotional lyrics reflecting not only the pain and grief inflicted by war on ordinary, innocent people in every conflict zone, but also their strength, resilience and determination. Supported by Lionheart's superb songwriting, soaring backing vocals, beautiful twin guitar harmonies, and atmospheric keyboards, Lionheart's sheer power shines brightly from every one of the eleven songs, culminating in a heartfelt prayer for peace in the world.

Untitled after is the debut from two esteemed artists of the avant-jazz community, Catherine Sikora and Brian Chase. Sikora (tenor and soprano saxophones) and Chase (drumset) embrace a contemporary take on classic free improvisation, merging a sensibility of lyricism with the spontaneity of improvisation. Their instrumental virtuosity is featured as a bridge to the music it discovers. As inspiration for this recording, the classic epic poem of Beowulf was used in small excerpts and interpreted as musical source material.
