(2-CD set) Lisa Null has lived a life dedicated to traditional music, and her most recent recording clearly demonstrates this dedication. From the founding of Green Linnet Records to her field-collecting and folklore studies, her interest has been unwavering. She has a strong and compelling voice and a great ability to communicate traditional music with honesty and feeling. CD-1 features older songs and CD-2 newer songs and tunes. CD-2 includes some of Lisa's lovely originals. The set is accompanied by a great 68-page booklet of lyrics and background information.
