What can you really say about a digital camera battery -- ha! As I bought it from Best Buy, I expected it to serve its purpose perfectly, and it has. To add some excitement to my review, I suppose I could recount what happened to the old battery (and the camera case it was in), but reviews shouldn't make readers sob. Anyway, the new battery works and recharges most satisfactorily.

I got replacement batteries, to replace my original that has lasted over 8 years!!! Nothing beats a Canon battery!

It is worth it to me to pay the price for the Canon battery to be as certain as I can be that my travel photos will be as numerous as possible with a single battery charge. I don't care to wonder if another brand will offer an equivalent level of battery life.
