I bought this for added security in my home and to help me know whomwas coming in and out (and when). This had been an excellent source of peace and comfort to my increasing need for personal security. I HIGHLY recommend getting this and the extension option!

I purchased this lock 2 years ago. At first it was great, but after 1 year, the numbers were illegible in the late afternoon. I am assuming that this lock cannot handle direct sun. The front of my house gets the afternoon sun. Now, the numbers are always illegible. I can still use the fingerprint sensor, but no one can enter a code. Resetting after changing the batteries is a chore. Ive changed the batterries twice and had to spend alot of time trying to get ut back online. If you think you're going to quickly change the batteries before you leave the house. Plan it so you have plenty of time to troubleshoot. It will take longer than you think.

Beautiful Item, design and manufacturing touches are incredible. Instructions and 3-D installation specs (via the Bilt app) were quite clear and straightforward. I'd say that there is minimal DIY experience required to get it installed. ** For the BAD - had to return the item as it wouldn't work on our old door/frame/casing. Our door requires a slight "pull-to-snug" before turning the key to lock the deadbolt and because the frame is so old and battered, no amount of strike plate adjustments or weather-stripping modification could remove that "pull-to-snug". Therefore, this deadbolt cannot completely lock on it's own and would throw an error each time. We are extremely sad about that.

Easy to setup, instructions are great. Only items of caution is that the deadbolt is larger than normal, so you may need to bore a larger hole. Also, it connects to Wi-Fi, but only if you buy another specific piece of equipment.

This is great for my parents home. My dad's fingerprints have a hard time with all fingerprint scanners, so it is nice that he can put in a code instead. There are only a few cons to this product. First, it doesn't have WiFi built in and an adapter needs to be purchased. Second, the codes need to be long, which is a pain.

I am glad I don't have to search for keys or knock the door when arriving home. Everyone in house uses their fingerprint to get in. Auto lock feature is very nice for safety. You can set auto lock for 30 sec - 5 Minutes. Such a smart device! -Very nice packaging. (detailed instructions and 3D instructional video makes messing up impossible) -Easy to install. -Works flawlessly. (Used it for 2 months before writing review) -Great app.

This is the best lock I have ever seen or used oh my goodness this is so awesome I love it my kids will lost keys every time but since I got this lock it’s a game changer

Replaced my regular door lock with this and it’s a life changer. We mostly use finger print sensor over entering the codes. Reoccurring guests have their own code but during parties I just set the lock to stay open via the app.

It delays unlocking when using your finger fingerprint. It does not track usage when you’re NoT home. You have to be in the area to lock and unlock from your phone. Expensive for nothing

Hi, I’m leaving this review gir Lockly Biometric Locjs because i own a few of these and have been using them for almost a year and let me tell you that this lock is the TRUTH! Its sturdy its fairly easy to install snd it simply works the only negative i have about this amazing lock is that it is not compatible with my home alarm system SMH other than that this thing is killer. Don’t waste your time worrying about the batteries dying in it they last a good while and even nearly totally dead the lock will still work and give you plenty of time to run snd buy batteries. Which leads me to my final point throw away the key as soon as the lock is installed and you have set up the app and your finger prints are being recognized by the lock I’ve never used a key in mine and why risk some fool getting it and having their way in your house right do don’t listen to anyone get rid of the key immediately i swear you will never need it.

This item is terrible!!! The installer couldn't install it because a part of the locking mechanism was too high and could only turn in one direction, preventing the lock for working without the key. It did work with the key only. However, it would not lock or unlock without the key.
