I’m very impressed with this gaming headset. The sound quality is clear and immersive, with deep bass and crisp highs that make games feel more realistic. Whether it’s footsteps, dialogue, or background effects, everything comes through clearly. The headset is also very comfortable, even during long gaming sessions. The ear cushions are soft and don’t cause pressure, and the adjustable headband fits well. I really like the charging stand, it keeps everything organized and makes charging easy and convenient. The microphone works great and my voice comes through loud and clear with no complaints from teammates. Overall, this headset offers great performance, comfort, and value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid gaming headset.

Great headset! Quality is nice fits comfortably on my head! Audio is great use it for bo7 and to stream! Helpful when I need to switch from pc to ps5 with one button on the headset you can!!

Overtime I’ve used the A40 since the PS4 PS5 and now pc so I needed an upgrade for my streams videos and many more. Nonetheless the sound quality is better easy to use when there are other presets to try. I love the Bluetooth feature because I’ve never had a Bluetooth gaming headset plus the response time is nonexistent works fine easy to turn on and off and the battery life is amazing because it doesn’t die anytime soon even with my long livestreams and gaming sessions

I tried many things to improve the audio quality in games like Call of Duty Warzone and I failed, PC or PS5 the game sound is muddy and makes the enemy footsteps hard to hear them. The headset volume is also kinda low, but it improved a lot with earpads from Wicked cushion, also it added a nice look to my headset matching the red accents, it turned the sound way too boomy so I tried the EQ recommended settings but they didn’t help, I also went further and tried specific EQ for Warzone using the improved earpads to no avail. Funny thing my music wireless headphones makes sniper shots from BF6 sound realistic with full body, here the Astros are disappointing tiny, and adding the EQ settings for FPS games is even worse. So sound quality it totally failed to me, the best thing about this headset is the microphone quality, they got that right with clear voice and also reducing background noise without affecting the voice fullness. But the new A50 feels a step backwards from my older A40 TR, I can’t remove the mic or much less change mic sides, I can’t snap the caps out to make them semi open, the volume control is in a position where I accidentally touch the wheel control when grabbing the headset, it’s frustrating and makes having to readjust my volume an inconvenience. The bluetooth function is tethered to the base, so forget about using it with other devices on the go since you need to carry the base and it needs a power outlet. The multi connection works pretty well I was able to switch between PC and PS5 with no issue, this is the main selling point for this headset and I preferred the USB port connection for the devices rather than the HDMI from the X version, but it comes with only one USB cable for connecting the devices, this is an expensive headset at least it should bring the other 2 cables for connecting multiple devices as advertised. Ultimately these features are downed by the ok sound quality, it’s not good value, you can get better sound quality elsewhere and being unable to hear footsteps properly is a no in my book. Maybe you’re just interested in connecting multiple devices with good wireless connectivity and great mic but a headset should sound as a good as the price range is being set for.

Great headset. Needed to release sooner. Only 1 flaw. Best Buy employee here. Do I need to say it again? I wish I had this headset when the PS5 and Series X first launched. That being said (twice), I’m glad it’s finally here. Now let me get rid of the elephant in the room. If you have a TV with 4 HDMI 2.1 (48Gb bandwidth) ports, you do not need this version of the A50 — instead save $100 and get the A50 gen 5. However if you have that sweet-sweet Sony OLED, or a killer gaming monitor, you probably can’t connect all your consoles to that beast simultaneously… Enter the A50X from Astro&Logitech. The charge base of this headphone doubles as a 2-port HDMI 2.1 switch. Now my Xbox and PS5 only need 1 port on my Sony Bravia 8ii. (Yes my PC is currently in the eARC port, but when I get a soundbar, it will be one that does HDMI 2.1 pass-through). I’m not going to go down the rabbit-hole of sound quality here, but it is a very good closed-back headphone. This should go without saying, but if this is your first of $300+ gaming headphone, be sure to connect it to your computer to update drivers. Yes even if this is for your console. While you’re there, play around with the settings (you won’t be able to adjust all of them on the fly). This is how you fall in love with the good-good. So what’s the flaw? Build quality compared the the Astro a50 gen 4. This is the first generation of A50 headphones manufactured by Logitech. It seems Logitech used cheaper parts or assembly (or both) for the build. This is only apparent in the sliders to adjust the fit. They do not have the same premium feel that previous A50 headsets have had. The gen 5 and X can/will wear down to the point of being noticeably loose. I don’t think they will break, but when you pay $300 for a headphone, this matters.

I was looking to upgrade for a while and put a lot of thought into it. I am very happy with the choice of these Astro a50s their wireless, and they have great sound capabilities whether you’re listening to music or games. Probably one of the greatest purchases I made for my PC this year.

I’ve used many different gaming headsets and this one really brings it home. I’ve used Turtlebeach, Razer, Steel Series, Corsair just to name a few but the comfort, the sound from these are on another level. I love the base. It looks cool standing up. It’s definitely worth it. Plus If you can get it on sale, definitely go for them!!

A50 Headphones is amazing what really bought me to fall in love with these headphones is the fact it’s connected to Bluetooth so I am able to hear what’s playing on my phone and still hear the game at the same time highly recommend !!
