I’ve used my old track ball *vs. a mouse) with my PC for over 15+ years. I t solved issues I was having with my elbow. I recently had to upgrade from my HP laptop for assorted reasons including stuck in Win 10 limitations. I decided to keep the HP for some needs and added a iMac in another room. I ordered the iMac with Magic Trackpad which works very well. However I was missing a track ball at times. So I got an adapter to connect my old USB-A trackball. Aftre a week or so, I found I was using each (Pad & ball) about 50% of the time. I wanted to put the wired trackball back wit PC and get wireless for teh iMac. After a lot of research, I decided the MX ERGO was my best path. Being uncertain of how much tilt angle I’d want, I decided to get the PLUS version (which BB offers) for the added 10 degree shim. If/when desired. I’ve not had a lot of time yet, but am splitting my use between TrackPad & TrackBall about 50%. It’s a great product and the adjustable angle is a useful/beneficial feature vs. a gimmick.Though on the pricey side, I still Highly recommend the MX ERGO S and the Plus version.

Logitech MX Ergo X Plus Wireless Trackball — Customer-Style Review I’ve been using the Logitech MX Ergo S Plus Wireless Trackball and it’s been a fantastic addition to my desk setup. The trackball design means I barely have to move my whole hand or wrist to control the cursor, which makes long work sessions feel a lot more comfortable and relaxed. The adjustable tilt and ergonomic shape feel natural in my hand and help keep my wrist in a better position throughout the day. Scrolling and clicking feel smooth and responsive, and the wireless connection is reliable with no noticeable lag. Overall, it’s a really comfortable and well-built trackball mouse that makes everyday use feel easier and more enjoyable, especially if you’re looking to reduce strain during long hours at the computer.

The soft click of the main mouse buttons is much improved over the previous model - hopefully it lasts longer than the previous versions, which I had to replace about every 20 months. USB-C is a nice addition for charging, as everything is going in that direction. The software leaves something to be desired. With my previous version, I could assign the forward & back keys to number pad keys, but in the latest version of the software, this doesn't work. It always selects the input as if the Num Lock were off. They need to fix this. -1 star for poor software implementation that makes me lose functionality that the last version had.

I like the concept of ergomomic mouse, a slightly expensive product more than 100, I lost the receiver because it came outside the mouse inside the box and mistakenly throws the box away but connects without problems also by bluetoot

After having carpal tunnel surgery, I needed to find truly ergonomic products. This mouse has been an absolute game-changer. It's so good that I now own three of them—for work, home, and travel! The trackball is incredibly responsive and the customization options are perfect. Whether I'm working or gaming, this mouse allows me to be highly productive with minimal hand movement, which has made a world of difference. Highly recommended!

I would give this 5 stars, however, after using this mouse for a while now, I've noticed that left click button doesn't work always. This is especially true when trying to highlight a word by double clicking. Instead I need to scroll over the whole word using the track ball. It's a nuisance. Still, I do enjoy many aspects of this mouse: the way it feels in my hand, the long-lasting battery, and the fact that it is rechargeable. These are all great features. It's also very comfortable. If you have pain in your wrist from using more conventional mice, I would recommend this mouse. That being said, if proper ergonomics is your main goal, I'm sure there are cheaper ones available that will have a similar effect.

My wrist huts using normal mice and I have been using these thumb trackballs for around 15 years. Logitech makes the most comfortable trackballs. That said. The only reason I went with this option over the cheaper one with the dongle is that this one has bluetooth. Current generation laptops don't have full sized USB ports so the M575 is no longer viable in 2025. Frankly I do not like the new design compared to the M575. This one is much heavier and has a heavy metal plate with a magnetic tilting thing that I suppose makes it possible to be more ergonomic for some people but unfortunately makes it much heavier. The buttons also seem to wear out in about 1.5 years guaranteeing you will need to buy a new one. The old ones with the USB cables still work fine so at some point they must have started getting lower quality switches. The M575 was much lighter and easier to carry around in laptop bad. This model is very heavy and the magnetic solid steel plate on the bottom makes it rather painful if you drop the mouse on your bare foot. The price is also verry high compared to the M575. You can commonly fine the M575 for $40 while this model is going to cost you a minimum of $80 depending on if you catch a sale. The button next to the mouse wheel is also a bit annoying activating a slowmo mode.

We appreciate you sharing your extensive feedback on the MX ERGO S PLUS. We understand your preference for Bluetooth connectivity and your long-standing experience with our trackballs. We're sorry to hear that the weight, design, and button functionality didn't meet your expectations, especially compared to the M575. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the weight, the button placement, and the slow-mo mode activation. We value your input and will consider it for future product improvements. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/Logitech.png" alt="Logitech" title="Logitech" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

This is definitely a good mouse when you don't have a lot of desk space. I often have to use my computer in limited space conditions and not needing to move my mouse around has been great. My one gripe is that the ball seems to get gunked up as needs to be spun fast to loosen it up at least once a day.

This mouse has BALLZ! I love trackballs for long game sessions so I don't get wrist fatigue from sliding a mouse all over the place. Logitech also has a suite of controls you can download to set the speed, angle, sensitivity, acceleration, etc. to customize it to your play style. I set mine so moving my thumb gently from one side to the other is the exact distance to move the mouse cursor across the screen so i never have to lift my thumb unless i need to switch to precision mode (the button right above the ball reduces the speed to your set level when you need very tiny mouse movement for delicate aim or control) The body is SOLID! made of metal and comfortable grip rubber similar to high end controllers and has a magnetic tilt base that lets you adjust the wrist angle. (even the scroll wheel can be pushed left and right to be programmed to scroll sideways or in games to switch through menus then scroll up and down through those menus, It is just a well developed product. I put a 4 star on the price only because it was over $100 and the next lower price point is like $35, this should be in the $80 range and the $100-$120 range should be illuminated and link to most razer/illumination programs to sync your color scheme. Oh and it has internal rechargable battery that works all day on a 1 minute charge or 6 MONTHS on a full overnight charge and you can charge while using it because it doesn.t move! It's Great!

I just got the Logitech MX Ergo S Plus, and it's already making a big difference. The trackball design means I don't have to move my whole arm around, which really helps reduce wrist and forearm strain, great for avoiding carpal tunnel issues. It feels solid, the tilt adjustment makes it easy to find a comfortable angle, and the battery life is excellent. My only note is that it's a bit heavier than a regular mouse, but the comfort and precision make it worth it.

I can use this mouse in just about any arm position. The trackball is easy to pop out and keep clean and is a pretty smooth mover from the start. It took me a minute to figure out how to use the adjustable magnetic base, but when I did, it was easy. Retraining myself to use this mouse type for my everyday use was pretty easy, even for the types of games I play. It has been a dream compared to conventional mice, in that I no longer have issues with constant wrist or forearm pain. Over the weeks I've had it, I've noticed the following: 1. The battery life on this thing lasts forever. 2. Whether I use it with it's wireless dongle or the Bluetooth connection, the performance is smooth and consistent. 3. The software that helps with configuration is pretty simple and easy to use. 4. You can use it straight away from the box. The few downsides I can think of are pretty minor in comparison. Those being: 1. Mouse buttons are pretty quiet. 2. Mouse buttons do need a little more pressure than normal. 3. If a person has any sort of tremor, it is not recommended leaving your thumb on the ball, especially if you can't tolerate the sight of jumpy cursors. 4. Does take practice getting used to if you're coming from traditional mouse usage. This is just my take, other people may have differing experiences. Overall though, for the value, I am not unhappy and think that this mouse deserves a 5 star rating from me.

I’ve always been a fan of trackball mice for light to medium tasks. This one from Logitech is a welcomed addition to the trackball history and my go to for browsing, office work and light to medium gaming(RTS, slower paced games, etc.). The inclusion of a 20°+ tilt, really makes it stand out, and out preform other traditional, yet also ergonomic mice. After 4-10 hours of intermittent use, your hand/arm does not feel as if you’ve been on the computer all day, I’ve yet to experience any fatigue. The inclusion of the precision button, thumb operated near the trackball, is a great feature along with the five other programable buttons. Editing their function for different programs has made everything quicker/easier. Not having to replace batteries is another welcome bonus and after months of use, have t had to charge. I think Logitech really made a standout product with this one, and are the obvious forerunners in this market. Please continue to make and innovate these types of mice.

If you don't usually use a trackball then this mouse gets some time getting used to. Once you get the hang of it, you find it to be ergonomic to clasp. It can be held anywhere, at the table, on the arm of the couch or on your lap. No surface necessary. I even game with it. It holds a very good charge but can be used plugged in. The clicker will be the first thing to give out but not for quite a while.
