Logitech - MX ERGO S PLUS Wireless Ergonomic Trackball Mouse with 6 Programmable Buttons - Wireless - Graphite

When I couldn't find it at the local store, I bought it online instead for the sake of productivity and comfort. It can go from a flat position to a 30 degree angle thanks to the magnetic metal plate that adjusts the mouse, Even more with the included wedge (When getting an Ergo S Plus) which makes it all the more comfortable in my case. The trackball is easily removable just my using my fingers on it, only drawback is that the hole underneath if you're having trouble is small and you may need something thin and rubbery like an eraser to pop it out when cleaning it and the hinges. Made the decision to get this particular kind of mouse because my razer gaming mouse, which claimed to be 'ergonomic' gives my hand an uncomfortable position until my wrists start to ache every time to move it. Before I start writing it all down, I recommend doing some research before you buy something that claims to be 'ergonomic in some way shape or form, be it a trackball or a vertical mouse. Mind you, you won't get used to it right away, and your hand WILL hurt hopefully for the sake of getting used to a product that's not shaped like a run-of-the-mill mouse. But overall I enjoy using this, it makes navigation fun and easy to move around. That being said, there are many complaints that I also trouble dealing with as well is that this is a THUMB operative trackball mouse, which means YOU ARE going to be using only your thumb all day to navigate and move the mouse. If you don't want to use your thumbs too much which may cause RSI. I think it's best to check out either vertical mice or trackballs meant specifically for your fingertips instead. Only thing you should be wary about is that the Logi Options+ software allows AI prompt features in the actions ring feature, smart actions, etc. To which I'm not a big fan of, of course, and will never use. But luckily you can always customize the features depending on the applications you're using and swap it out for other features including pulling up applications, Macros and many more. The quality feels great! Trackball is nice and responsive, While not as slick and smooth as the M575, which is a budgeted option that i've tried myself, It still feels nice to use. It seems to only operate in Wireless dongle/Bluetooth mode, but the battery can last for a long time until it needs to be charged after a matter of days or months. If you are trying to use this for PC gaming, I must say that you can play this! It's just not going to be easy at first, especially cuz for some reason the software does NOT recognize your steam games, I do think it's up to you to customize how you're going to play. Do check for 'Mouse Acceleration' features tho for aiming. Again, it's going to take a lot of getting used too, but it's fun regardless in my opinion. Overrall, for a mouse I got for $109 dollars ($119 when off the sales), I think it's a great addition to my small desk (including my moonlander combo). It's no gaming blessing in disguise, but it's comfortable and solely made for your workspace and being as work-efficient as possible.

I’ve used my old track ball *vs. a mouse) with my PC for over 15+ years. I t solved issues I was having with my elbow. I recently had to upgrade from my HP laptop for assorted reasons including stuck in Win 10 limitations. I decided to keep the HP for some needs and added a iMac in another room. I ordered the iMac with Magic Trackpad which works very well. However I was missing a track ball at times. So I got an adapter to connect my old USB-A trackball. Aftre a week or so, I found I was using each (Pad & ball) about 50% of the time. I wanted to put the wired trackball back wit PC and get wireless for teh iMac. After a lot of research, I decided the MX ERGO was my best path. Being uncertain of how much tilt angle I’d want, I decided to get the PLUS version (which BB offers) for the added 10 degree shim. If/when desired. I’ve not had a lot of time yet, but am splitting my use between TrackPad & TrackBall about 50%. It’s a great product and the adjustable angle is a useful/beneficial feature vs. a gimmick.Though on the pricey side, I still Highly recommend the MX ERGO S and the Plus version.

I would give this 5 stars, however, after using this mouse for a while now, I've noticed that left click button doesn't work always. This is especially true when trying to highlight a word by double clicking. Instead I need to scroll over the whole word using the track ball. It's a nuisance. Still, I do enjoy many aspects of this mouse: the way it feels in my hand, the long-lasting battery, and the fact that it is rechargeable. These are all great features. It's also very comfortable. If you have pain in your wrist from using more conventional mice, I would recommend this mouse. That being said, if proper ergonomics is your main goal, I'm sure there are cheaper ones available that will have a similar effect.

After having carpal tunnel surgery, I needed to find truly ergonomic products. This mouse has been an absolute game-changer. It's so good that I now own three of them—for work, home, and travel! The trackball is incredibly responsive and the customization options are perfect. Whether I'm working or gaming, this mouse allows me to be highly productive with minimal hand movement, which has made a world of difference. Highly recommended!
