This is the best keyboard I have ever owned, hands down. I initially was using the Apple Magic Keyboard w/number pad and it was really disappointed in that especially for $150. This one however, is much better and it's $50 cheaper!! Keys feel great, perfect amount of key travel, backlight is great, love the function keys, perfect typing angel as well and the number pad is awesome. Battery is pretty great too, I work from home so gets a ton of use. With my 40 hour work week I charge it about once a month which I think is pretty great! It charges over USB-C which is also great. Also fun fact... I'm an accountant and this keyboard has calculator function button which you can map to any calculator app of choice. SO HANDY, I use that button all day lol. Anyway great keyboard way better than Apple's version

Wanted to add a 5 star! I didn't think I could love a keyboard so much..but I think because I'm weak at typing I love it. Something about how smooth the keys & easy to find just makes it so soothing. 'PerfectStroke keys -Spherically dished keys match the shape of your fingertips, offering a satisfying feedback with every tap.' - YES true!- 'Smart illumination-Features hand proximity detection and automatic backlighting.' - Mine doesn't do this..I'm connected to a 2015 Macbook pro..not sure if that matters. But I have to hit a key for my light to come on... the backlight goes off immediately which is annoying & I can't seem to find any settings for it. I needed to to replace my wired one which is no longer available. I bought the new apple keyboard and hated it! It's completely flat and I didn't like the keys (again I'm a weak typer, so I think I prefer keys to be a little separated.) Also I'm always readjusting throughout the day; so you had no where to grab the keyboard and move it. The only thing I don't like at 1st about the Logi is that it's very heavy.. only because I like to move around & adjust a lot. But, after a few days.. I don't even notice anymore; and the love of the key board out weighs it. PROS - It connects via Bluetooth w your mac so you don't have to use the little dongle. It's BACKLIT! To me that was amazing. The grey apple keyboard is $150 & doesn't do that!

The included Magic Keyboard that came with the 2020 iMac left a LOT to be desired. While the mechanical Logitech G512 keyboard worked well with the computer, the inability to tame the cable mess on the desk without drilling holes to route the length underneath the surface was an endeavor I didn't want to take on. Positive reviews in the press for the MX Keys keyboard had me seriously consider going the wireless route even at the expense of the tactile feedback I've grown to love. Needless to say, the MX Keys is the solution that Apple should have designed. The unit has considerable weight to it and the height of the keys feels much more inviting for extended typing sessions. The backlighting was the primary must-have feature for my use case and the brightness is more than sufficient. I can't comment extensively on battery life cycles and recharge rates. However, the availability of a well-placed USB-C port makes the recharge effort trivial in nature. Especially when used with a Caldigit dock that is inches away. The workspace is now cable-free and the feel is excellent. The Logitech Options software won't work without using the included Unifying Receiver. The customization it brings to the table is worth the loss of a USB port. The ability to pair the MX Keys with up to 3 different devices aids in justifying the $100 point of entry. Incredibly well designed keyboard all around and a mandatory investment for Mac owners!

Wow! What a fantastic keyboard! This is such a huge improvement from my load and clackity old keyboard. I wanted something that was quiet and this is the one. The keys feel fantastic: nice shallow-ish travel, good space between keys, backlit, and nice indents for your fingers. The build quality is very solid - a lot heavier than I thought it would be. The keyboard angle is not adjustable, but that won't be a problem for me as it feels just right. Highly recommend it as an upgrade for those looking for a well-built, quiet typing, and responsive keyboard.

This keyboard pairs quickly with your MacBook. Battery life is decent. It is well built and is heavier than it looks. It stays in place even on smooth surfaces. The keys are high quality plastic with ergonomic indentations that your fingers comfortably rest in. Automatic backlit feature is nice in low light There is no lag when typing. Sleek design. Keys are designed to match those on a MacBook (Command, control, and Option keys are included) in addition to “fn”. Full size number keypad also included.

Excellent wireless keyboard with backlit keys. Charge up every 3-4 weeks. Long internal battery life. Fits perfectly on my limited computer desk. It was very easy to install on my HP computer.

I love this keyboard, the keys are much better to type on than the Apple keyboards. I like that you can pair multiple devices to use with it. The backlit keys are nice to use in low light, and the battery lasts a long time.

This is an excellent keyboard. I am a seasoned typist and these keys are very comfortable, the keyboard is QUIET and even though this one is for Mac, just like the other Logitech MX, it does in fact work on our PC as well. Great charge lifetime and the backlight is excellent!

I was hesitant to buy a non-mechanical gaming keyboard, but I pulled the trigger and I don’t regret my decision! It’s a wonderfully addictive typing experience with an easy to switch toggle! Even though the keyboard is geared towards MacOS, it works very fluid on Windows 10 when I need to use it.

Ive only had this for about 3 years and omg its the best money ever spent. I was about to purchase the apple magic keyboard when I realized it didn’t have backlight which was my main reason for upgrading from the stock iMac keyboard. I laughed out loud when I saw the apple keyboard wanted 150 for a keyboard with no backlight, then saw the reviews for this one and let me tell you, its flawless. ITs everything Apple should have done out the box, Bluetooth wireless or usb dongle, has a adjustable backlight, and also the keyboard wakes up just by waving your hand over it, dont even have to touch it, switches from iPad back to an iMac seamlessly and you can add a 3rd device, wakes up my Mac with no issues, keys feel soft and the imprint is super nice and feels sturdy, and much heavier than the apple keyboard. Overall this is a beautiful keyboard and I only wish I bought it sooner

This is by far the best keyboard I’ve ever purchased. The keys have great travel and they smart illumination makes them even better to use at night. The weight overall feels really good so keyboard isn’t sliding around my desk all the time. I work on multiple devices so having the ability quickly and easily being able to switch between the with the press of a button is a dream.

Really love this keyboard, it actually set up in its own and lights up every time it’s typing. Pretty cool nice and soft to the touch. Also, great sale on it was a plus.

Best third-party keyboard for Mac. I've owned mine for over two years now (got it in the MX Combo/Bundle) and it's served me well. Great out-of-the-box connectivity via Bluetooth (unifying receiver not needed in my case). Tried to keep using it after the Winter 2023 Coke Spill. Held up for a while, but my plucking keys, inefficient cleaning, and excessive knocking to get dust out over time culminated in a worked over peripheral. Just replaced it, and am feeling as good as ever. I do own the Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2, but they just don't give the same feeling and ergonomics. Also, the ability to pair and save three devices is unmatched.

Keyboards perfect took a little bit to get used to but once you get the hang of it it’s smooth the charge hold very long, so you’re not always having to plug it in

Nice feel. Long-lasting charge. I purchased this when an injury to my right arm and hand made it difficult for me to type on my ergonomic Logitec Keyboard. I was able to connect to my MacBook Pro without using the dongle.

In comparison to the Apple Magic Keyboard, I find this far more comfortable and easier to type on. Additionally, there is a bit more functionality with programing your own keys. The backlighting option is nice, something unavailable on the Apple Keyboard. Only issue is that sometimes it disconnects from the USB Unifying Receiver, but usually just turning it back on and off helps. I highly recommend this keyboard and think it is the superior choice compared to Apple's Magic Keyboard.

Let me just start by saying this is the best feeling keyboard I've ever used. After using the Apple Magic Keyboard and Mouse for several months I decided to switch to the Logitech MX series and my only regret is that I didn't just purchase this in the first place. At $50 cheaper than the space gray Magic Keyboard, this is a no brainer. I also love the multiple device capability and how easy it is to switch. Also, I type A LOT, I use this for my work-from-home set up and for programming classes, and it's been a really enjoyable experience with this keyboard.

This was and is my magic keyboard replacement option. It's a solid build with great tactile feedback. It takes a good minute to get accustomed to the indented keys, but once that minute passes, it's a pleasure to type on. I needed to the number keys on the side and not at the top, this has been great. I appreciate the Logitech flow software, but it takes a while to get the hang of since my laptop (second monitor) is at a different angle than my main monitor (iMac). The backlight is great but sensitive to movement.

I’m really happy with this Logitech wireless keyboard. I use it with my MacBook Air and it matches perfectly. I love the sleek design and the keys are quiet, making typing smooth and distraction free. The backlighting looks cool and makes it easy to work in low light. It’s a full-size keyboard but still light and portable. The aluminum build makes it feel solid and expensive. Overall it’s stylish, portable and pairs great with my laptop!

I was looking for what I thought was impossible: a wireless keyboard with backlighting and the classic Mac shortcuts on the keys that matches the current line of MacBooks. After being disappointed with several cheaper options purchased online, I splurged for the Logitech keyboard and could not be happier. The battery life is fantastic and recharging is quick with the included USB-C cord. The backlight is great for low-light environments and the ability to easily pair with multiple devices is a nice addition.
