A: What are you using it on, PC, Xbox, PS4? You may need to tweak that devices headphone output and make sure it's at 100% then use the slider on the wire to control the volume. Also make sure that it's not turned all the way down on the wire controls as that would come across as if you've cranked it on the hardware and still not hearing anything if that is turned way down possibly. A: No it’s not tight. It’s a comfortable light weight headset. I had the G933s and those were heavy compared to these. No regrets.

A: You are able to adjust this in settings, it is a preference setting for those who wish to hear how loud they are speaking on the mic (this can be turned on or off). You will most likely hear an echo if you are too close to a loud tv with your mic on. To fix it you could play all audio through headphones or adjust mic sensitivity.
