Got this record as a gift for my daughter. She loves and it works great.

This year (2020), I showed an interest in vinyls. Being a huge fan the album Pure Heroine by Lorde, i decided to let this be the first vinyl. This is the record I like to play at the end of the day when I want to unwind. A couple times, I find myself playing side A or B, when I'm heading to bed. Besides talking about how absolutely grade A++, this album is, I have to say, I was a little disappointed in the actual vinyl. At the tip of the vinyl (before the music starts), I noticed a dint. I was actually worried that the record would risk skipping. But Everything is clear. I thank (Lorde) the sound quality was not effected.

Honestly, I am a bigger fan of her second album. So much so that it made me pick this one up and give it a closer listen, and I like her minimalist approach here. “Royals” and “Team” wound up being the hits, but elements of both songs are found throughout the entire album. The vinyl is nice and the large booklet has lyrics photos and an essay.

Very atmospheric album with lush beats and layered arrangements. Melodrama is even better, but this debut is amazing in its own right.

This album has been one of my favorites ever since it came out, and I just got a turntable so I finally got this. It plays well for the most part, besides a small skip on Royals and some distortion on Buzzcut Season. I'll try cleaning the record so hopefully that can fix things

Lorde's first album is solid all the way through, she won a Grammy for Royals and had several other high charting singles from the album. On vinyl it all sounds amazing.

Birthday choice for my Granddaughter. She is getting into vinyl and this was her birthday gift.

I love how well it plays, the songs are amazing and it really sounds great on my record player.

Very few artists have an amazing debut album, but Lorde is one of the exceptions. Can not wait to get her follow up album on vinyl!
